There’s something powerful about just getting out there and doing the work. In this video, it shares how getting in front of 800 people and presenting a deal led to something unexpected… just two weeks later, two people from the audience reached out wanting to invest. No gimmicks, no shortcuts just showing up, having conversations, and being in the right rooms. And I love this because it proves a point I say all the time… It’s not about being perfect. It’s about being visible. It’s about networking, attending sessions, speaking to people, and doing the steps consistently. And yes, there are always ups and downs in this game, that’s part of it. But if you keep going and keep putting yourself out there, those breakthrough moments do come. Confidence builds through action. Belief builds through doing. As we come to the end of Q1, it’s been full-on for Grasshopper Property. And as CEO, this quarter has been a huge exercise in learning, resilience and personal growth. I’ve moved through the imposter syndrome phase… the “how do we match last year’s success?” phase… the “are we going to find enough profitable deals?” phase… And now I’m firmly in the “Clare, look at what’s actually live, be proud of what’s happening, and excited about what’s coming” phase. On top of that, we’ve added some fantastic new relationships to our power team, which I’m incredibly grateful for. Q2 has a lot to offer. Some of it continues the momentum we’ve already built, some of it is very much a “watch this space”. As we set our Q2 goals, I’m focused on making sure the company’s goals are crystal clear and aligned with the expectations of our board and investors. For me, being vulnerable isn’t a weakness. It’s a sign that you care deeply, that you’re ambitious to succeed, and that you don’t want to let others down. It’s the truest version of me and it’s me giving my all. Some of the best business decisions aren’t made in the office, but while stepping away from it. I was out walking, surrounded by water and open countryside, taking time to weigh up the pros and cons of a potential new opportunity for Grasshopper Property, a former ambulance station. The building itself sits in a lovely, quiet village, yet is located directly behind a private care home. It’s in a beautiful, peaceful setting, but with clear considerations around future use, neighbours and community impact. Considerations that needed thought: • How could this industrial building be sensitively converted? • Would it be more suitable to rent or to sell once developed? • How would any scheme work alongside the existing care home and local village? Being outdoors, away from the usual noise and distractions, created exactly the right environment for thoughtful, strategic decision making. Still a couple of questions that need help, but sometimes, clarity comes not at the desk but when you give yourself space to think.

A little throwback to the incredible energy from the Assets for Life Awards Evening 2025. What a night it was… celebration, laughter, dancing, games, and recognizing the people in this community who are taking real action in property. We celebrated members securing their very first deal, that milestone moment that proves it’s possible. We honored those completing multiple deals, showing what consistency and commitment really look like. And we recognized some phenomenal achievements like raising over £2 million in JV finance… a true testament to trust, relationships, and leadership. It was also a special moment as we presented the first-ever awards for the Money Mastery Academy, recognizing members achieving returns ranging from 5% to 20% a fantastic result and a great example of money being put to work the right way. 👏 This is exactly what happens when people apply the training, stay consistent, and keep moving forward one deal at a time.
