Today I was outside with my younger girls, and they noticed a new nettle patch that had sprung up in the garden. And one of them said that we should pick some! She went and got a bowl, scissors and gloves and we spent 20 to 30 minutes picking nettle, blanched it for freezing and drank the tea that we had from blanching it.
