I must be doing something right!
Today I was outside with my younger girls, and they noticed a new nettle patch that had sprung up in the garden. And one of them said that we should pick some! She went and got a bowl, scissors and gloves and we spent 20 to 30 minutes picking nettle, blanched it for freezing and drank the tea that we had from blanching it.
I made me pretty happy, having her decide that we should spend some time doing that together this evening! And now I have some nettle in my freezer!
