I have been saying this for years that the corn syrup needs to be taken out. Look at this info posted on fb:

Heinz Tomato Ketchup will now feature a “contains bioengineered food ingredient” warning on its label because it utilizes ingredients derived from genetically modified crops. This disclosure became mandatory under the USDA National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard, which transitioned the official product labeling language to “bioengineered”. Specifically, standard Heinz Ketchup is formulated with high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup used as sweeteners, alongside distilled white vinegar. These ingredients are sourced from conventional, industrial U.S. corn crops, over 90% of which are genetically modified in labs to tolerate herbicides or resist pests. Because the genetic material from these modified crops is detectable in the production chain, federal law mandates that the packaging bear this transparency disclosure for consumers.

According to major regulatory bodies like the FDA and the WHO, approved GM ingredients currently on the market are as safe and nutritious as their non-GMO counterparts.
