Perimenopause didn’t just change my hormones…it changed my life.
My body changed, my skin changed. My priorities changed I went through a divorce I started a new career I let go of versions of myself I thought I had to stay loyal to…. And now… I’m rebuilding again.💪🏽 There are moments I feel lost, unsure, and behind. But what I’ve started to think is this… You don’t go through this season of life to break~ You go through it to become more honest. Stronger boundaries. Clearer values. More compassion for your body. And more courage to start over, even when it’s uncomfortable. If you’re in perimenopause and everything in your life feels like it’s shifting , you’re not failing! Think of it as you’re evolving!! 💕 And most of all, you aren’t alone!!💜💜 Love you ladies and have a beautiful Thursday🫶🏽

Perimenopause makes my body feel different
Perimenopause can change how our workouts feel… physically AND emotionally. Some days it’s not about calories or PR’s. It’s about regulating stress, boosting my mood, and feeling grounded again. And when I get a Stanley hug after?!! That’s a bonus🥰💜 Move your body. Be kind to yourself. That counts. ALWAYS!

Well on my schedule today is supposed to be sprints, but I woke up and my body told me that it needed a break… So I’m exchanging tomorrow’s rest and recovery day for today and I did a full body stretch session with my peloton app! Do what your body tells you!

Good morning everyone!!!🥰 If you’re here and thinking…“Why does my body feel different than it used to?” “Why do the same workouts or diets not work anymore?”....You are not broken — you’re in a new hormonal chapter... During perimenopause and menopause our estrogen becomes unpredictable 😲Recovery can take longer 😲 Stress hits harder 😲Muscle loss can happen faster if we don’t train smart...and that’s exactly why we’re focusing on: ✨ Short, intentional S.I.T. workouts (not long cardio marathons that increase our cortisol and actually can make you GAIN fat instead of lose it) ✨ Lifting to protect muscle, bones, and metabolism ✨ Fueling our body with enough protein ✨ Rest and recovery....without guilt!! This challenge isn’t about punishment or “pushing harder.” It’s about working with your hormones, not against them.💜 On Day 1, your only job is to: ✅Show up ✅ Listen to your body ✅ Trust the process Progress in this wonderful (haha😅) season comes from consistency + compassion with yourself...not extremes.
