The ability to pivot and adjust is huge
Anticipating the upcoming 5-day challenge starting on August 31st has inspired me to recommit to my morning launch and fine-tune my process. I've recently realized that I was letting time slip away before I jumped into my creative writing projects in the morning, and because of that, there wasn't enough time to be productive with them after walking my dog in the park every morning. I had a little chat with Jim's Twin, restructured my morning launch, and today I am happy to report that I got in 45 minutes of writing time on my screenplay before walking the dog. Then I was able to take my morning supplement stack and drink my mud water while writing for another half an hour before clocking in for my day job. I never lost my desire or commitment to give my writing and my creative projects my best fresh energy first thing in the morning, but I needed a little rearranging to make that realistic once the morning walk with the dog became a non-negotiable part of my day (my dog is my best accountability buddy because he NEVER forgets it's time to work some movement in.) I know I'll need to adjust the order of my morning launch again as the seasons change, but I can keep my morning launch intact, show up for the parts of myself I want to honor most, and still meet my goals and ocntinue to put evidence on my list that shows that I can make my days and my life work with my brain and not fight against it. thank you for these incredible systems and protocols that mean I don't have to start fresh or design a routine from nothing. I appreciate everything you do!
