Productive
Monday I had a really productive day. Went to my dad’s house as Jeremy was visiting. It was a really lovely warm sunny day, which is very unusual for October in the UK. 22 degrees.
We sat in the garden playing catch and I filled 3 bin liners with garden waste, it didn’t look like I achieved much but I will continue tomorrow.
Then I took my dad for his flu jab, went to feed my cousins cats, came home and cleared the kitchen, walked the dogs separately, fed the dogs, cooked a really great soup which was Camembert cheese and cream, but I forgot the crusty bread, so I had to run to the local shop and get some! Came back ate.
Just as I sat down to relax with my family and watch tv, I realised it was Oct 5th and I completely forgot that I had to register my daughter as self employed and the cut off date to tell the Inland Revenue was 5th, OMG! Everything was paused whilst I frantically tried to get my head around logging in, passwords, ID documents and all sorts of verification stuff. I am not good at this kind of stuff and find it very overwhelming but with the pressure, I got it done in around 45 minutes, so yay, hopefully my daughter won’t get a £100 fine now for being late! Things seemed so much easier when I was younger and I had more patience. The joys of getting older!
Overall a really good day
