"I helped out my neighbour, a dear friend, setting up a new bed frame. She asked me a few days ago, and I said yes, of course. The time came, and I really did not want to do it because I was tired, had no energy, and my ADHD mind didn't feel like it. However, I put my "big girl panties" on and went and helped her. Truth be known, it did not take that much time to set it up. I actually regained energy, and she was so grateful and said she would not have been able to do it alone. That made me smile and feel good about myself. Lesson learn... I noticed that in situations similar to this... I always come out of it feeling better. " 😊
