I was thinking about something earlier.
You know when you go to a networking event and it’s like… everyone’s there to sell something, but no one’s actually there to buy? Everyone’s got something. Everyone’s talking. Everyone’s kind of waiting for their turn. And it just becomes… I don’t know… it doesn’t really work. Because if everyone’s selling and no one’s buying, nothing actually happens. It’s just people talking. I think groups can turn into that really easily. It just becomes people posting what they’re doing, what they’re offering, what they’ve built… but not really engaging, not really looking for anything, not really connecting. And then it kind of feels like nothing’s moving. It’s not that it’s pointless… it’s just the dynamic is off. So I think a better way to use this is more like— What are you actually working on right now? What do you actually need? Where are you stuck? Not just what you’re selling. Because this only works if people are actually in it… not just dropping something in and then disappearing. Anyway, just something I’ve been noticing.

@Elena Maren That's awesome. What are you teaching? I see you also in Spain. I've lived a few years in Spain and absolutely love it

Some Community owners are still building in the stone age. Audio Attached long read warning
Hey Hubbers👋 I want to share how I’m actually building the tools, the automations, the Chrome extensions, the AI workflows all the stuff that levels up a community properly. Some people are still building in the stone age. No disrespect I was there too. That’s how I can relate. There are so many tools available right now that most community owners aren’t even touching. Chrome extensions alone? Massive opportunity. Did you know it costs just $5 to submit a Chrome extension to the Chrome Web Store for lifetime developer access? That’s insane leverage. Google Chrome has billions of users globally. Think about that visibility. What’s your USP? Why should someone join your community? If you don’t stand out, you blend in. And blending in doesn’t build trust, authority, or growth. Inside my spaces, we do live co-working builds. Websites. Shopfronts. Apps. Chrome extensions. Real-time learning. Real-time building. AI maximised as a team not alone. But here’s something deeper. Energy matters. People do business with who they know, like, and trust. If your energy isn’t aligned with your community, people feel it. Even online. And here’s a hard lesson from experience: Don’t go from paid to free to paid again randomly. It kills trust. It kills perceived value. If you go freemium, commit to it. If it’s paid, commit to it. Switching back and forth creates confusion, resentment, and messy upgrades. I’ve navigated that shift carefully but it requires transparency and alignment with your members. Community building isn’t just “open a Skool and hope.” It’s positioning. It’s structure. It’s trust. It’s visibility. It’s consistency. If this helped, let me know. Happy to share more. My DMs are open. Let’s build properly. So I've typed this using a new application that I've come across, which makes life so much easier and will speed up your workflow in regards to posting on any platform (apps, not apps, ChatGPT, Claude, any AI tool). https://wisprflow.ai/r?ANDREW28636 (Squad you get 1 month post freedom value $17)
