A great idea for audio, documents, images, etc...
I've been using Assistable for my WhatsApp AI agents and ran into an issue with voice notes and media. When a customer sends a voice note, the message arrives with an empty body. The assistant doesn't invoke the LLM, it just repeats the last message (I can see "0 AI responses" in the server logs). This means custom tools can't be triggered either. Attachments also show as "undefined" in the logs. Suggestion: Make the message type and attachment info visible. For example, include the file type (audio, image, document, video), the file URL, and the MIME type. This way we can identify what was sent and users can build custom tools to handle each type through the existing Tool Builder. Would be awesome!! This small change would unlock a lot of use cases (voice transcription, image analysis, document processing) without any major architectural changes. I have API version 2 on the list but I see it pay help in cost savings / opening up building. should I push this to my priority list?

When are we getting a usable API to this? Or is that not ever happening? GPT is gonna smoke this if this doesn't learn to become less dependent on GHL. GHL has their own AI (which is terrible), but all they will have to do is tweak a few things. Tying your whole business to GHL then basically tying all your users to GHL is crazy. Being an independent platform with a GHL connection makes way more business sense.

Problem with repeated outbound call attempts
I’m having an issue with outbound AI calls.When the system places a call and the person hangs up almost immediately, before the call fully connects, the system instantly makes between 2 and 4 additional contact attempts. In my setup, it should only make 1 call, not multiple retry attempts in a row.I already checked and I do not have multiple workflows triggering the call. What I want:If the person hangs up immediately, I want the system to stop and not call again. My question: Does anyone know whether this is controlled by the workflow, the call logic, or whether the system is interpreting those calls as not connected and automatically retrying? @Luke Houk mmm not that problem... I already try buying an assistable numer, with twilio and with Telnyx... always the same problem... but i am already in contact with support. Thanks Luke!

I’m not seeing unanswered calls in the sub-accounts, but I can see them at the agency level. Is that happening to you too? I think here is the problem...
