This single ADHD mom CRUSHED it.
I had to give a shout out to one of our newest Accelerator members, @Amber Kay. Amber is a single mom of three kids. She's been surviving on a low-wage dog training job at a soulless company for the last few years, and something AMAZING happened to her last month: She quit her job and went full-time on her own dog training business. The best part? In her FIRST MONTH on her own as a business owner, she made $1,600 more than she would have working full-time at her job. Without working any harder... While working from home. Probably in her PJs most of the time. (Just a guess 😉) Very few people have inspired me as much as Amber has. She works harder than almost anyone I know, raising three kids on her own while working full-time and planning an exit to run her own company. Most businesses take 2-5 years to start profiting. Amber did it on MONTH ONE. If she can do it, so can you. Thanks for inspiring us, Amber 🙏 Wanna learn about how the Accelerator helped Amber hit this huge success? Drop a comment and like on this post! If we hit at least 50 comments, I'll see if I can convince Amber to do an interview with me on how she pulled off this incredible feat!

Some of my favorite YouTube Channels
I’m a big fan of high-quality YouTube channels. And I’ve found a few lately that I really like. Figured I’d share! - Big Think - Johnny Harris - Be Smart - Hank Green What are some of your favorite channels, and what do you love about them?

@Natasha Fernandez Checking out CrashCourse. I tried HealthyGamerGG and could not stay interested. Are there particular videos that keep you interested?

Besides my own channel, which I am very inconsistent with uploading new videos, all kidding aside. I enjoy ThinkBig and BeSmart. Checking out CrashCourse, DOCEO. I have to be careful, otherwise I will wind-up in a rabbit hole for days.
Losing Things
I do not know a person with ADHD who does not lose things. One of the techniques I use, I attempt to retrace my step, and I ask God let their be light to shine light on what is hidden. Another one is pray about the missing item asking God to give me a dream because my brain does not want to play nice because I am stressed. What is your plan of action when you can not find something?

@Alison St. Romain I have done this technique when something is misplaced and span of time for the misplacement has only been a few minutes. One of my favorite expression “ I just had it in my hand. Where did it go?”

@Reema Rana all other things eventually show up and most cases they do, I agree. There two things that I lost and even today it still bother. The earrings my mother gave me before she died and another pair of earrings that I purchased when my mother and I went on our last trip together.
Loom and Notebook LM - tell me more!
I am exploring using Loom and Notebook LM to organize my content/course. I am mindful of learning styles - so I want written content and video content for ADHD brains. I want feedback - pros, cons, tip, tricks, and hacks! Thanks!

I want to pause for a moment and really see someone in our community who has been carrying a LOT lately - and still showing up with so much commitment and heart. @Venessa Phipps She’s been navigating overwhelm (the very real - ADHD kind), preparing a full Christmas meal on her own, while continuing to fulfill client orders that need to be delivered by Christmas Day.. As if that wasn’t enough… her freezer broke, forcing her to defrost, reorganize, and completely rethink her plan, right in the middle of everything. And still… 💚 she started prepping 3 early 💚 she adjusted instead of giving up 💚 she’s been showing up to "6am" co-working sessions EVERYDAY (yes, 6am her time!) 💚 she keeps choosing consistency even when it’s hard That takes courage. That takes resilience. That deserves to be acknowledged. If you have a moment, please drop a 💚, a kind word, or a message of encouragement below so she can feel just how supported and appreciated she is. We see you. We appreciate you. And you don’t have to carry this alone. 💚

@Alison St. Romain you are so right. I have a friend who doesn’t know that I’m ADHD and she’s constantly reminding me to stop and rest.

@Verena Venus before you encouraging words. By any chance, are you an Asian drama lover. When I was much younger, I was seriously addicted to karate action movies.
