Celebrate Success (thread)
"“In two weeks you’ll feel it. In four weeks you’ll see it. In eight weeks, you’ll hear it.” Celebrate your wins over the past month. So important to recognize how far you have come already, and take a moment to appreciate the milestones you have reached. Would love to hear how everyone is feeling at the moment and your biggest success 👇 Mine in the comments as well 💪

This week I came back from a 10-day vacation — the second one this month. It’s the first time I didn’t overeat or drink too much, and I don’t feel bloated or uncomfortable. 💪 I really feel like my relationship with food is improving, which was my main goal. 🤗 I’m more in tune with my body’s signals and able to act on them. Also, in the gym today and yesterday, I noticed how much stronger I’ve become compared to two months ago when I started working with Koen. My workouts are shorter than before, yet I’m seeing more progress than I did in the past two years with my previous training plan. 💪 I’m getting closer to an unassisted pull-up — let’s see when I finally get there! 😃
You ask, I answer!
🧠 What’s one thing you’re still struggling with right now? Let’s make this space more than just a scroll-and-go. Because you joined here for a reason. You want to feel better, get fit, build confidence?🤔 So whether it’s… 👉🏼 Trying to be perfect in the week, and losing control in the weekend 👉🏼 What workouts or exercises are best for fat loss or muscle gain 👉🏼 How to stay consistent with your goals when life gets busy 👉🏼 What to eat for your fitness goals 👉🏼 Or just sharing what's on your mind right now. For me, the first one resonates the most — how to stay on track during weekends and vacations when you're with family, friends, and others, each with their own routines and preferences. Even just shifting meal times throws off my hunger signals and makes everything feel chaotic... 🤷‍♀️

@Koen Vaessen Thank you for the answer! I will definitely have the opportunity to observe and test in the coming 10 days... 😃
Progress > Perfection
Let’s be honest — most times, you don’t fall off because you “can’t do it.” You fall off because you try to do too much, too perfectly, and burn out. Your brain loves black-and-white thinking: 💭 “If I can’t do the full workout, what’s the point even starting?” 💭 “I already had cake, now might elsewell order pizza and go all out! But the truth is that imperfect action done consistently will beat perfect action done rarely. Every. Time. Here’s how to show up imperfectly and still win: 1️⃣ Do half your workout or just your warmup — it still counts. 2️⃣ Turn your walk into a reset: add a few squats, mindful breathing, or a podcast. 3️⃣ Stack habits: stretch while watching Netflix, deep breathe while making coffee. 4️⃣ Use a 10-minute rule — set a timer and do something for just 10 minutes. 5️⃣ Plan less, repeat more — reuse meals or workouts instead of reinventing every day. 🎯 What matters most is momentum. You build trust with yourself not by being perfect — but by showing up anyway. Keep going, even if it’s messy. That’s where the real results come from. 💬 What’s one thing you can do today to show up, even if it’s not perfect?

Ok, 20 swings take around 40 seconds, which is a really short break... 😂 let's make it at least 1 min

@Koen Vaessen Thank you for this reminder!! I do tend to skip stretching, and I can really feel it in my body… so that’s a great idea! By the way, during our last call I wanted to tell you that I’d love to learn how to do a deep squat — I’ve never been able to do it without lifting my heels off the ground. So, that could be a great exercise to do during the day. Thanks for reading my mind, haha!

@Koen Vaessen Thank you for the welcome!! It was a language mistake - I meant 5 pull-ups and not push-ups 🙃 (without resistance band or any other help). My plan for that is - I've put my resistance band (of 25kg) in my bag, so every time I see an outdoor fitness I will make 3 sets of as much as I can (it is now 1 rep 😅). The same goes for in the gym - every time I am in the gym I will do 3 sets of 8 reps with as much kg help as I need.
