Update to Equitable & GDPR Disarming Debt Collectors Classroom
Hey, i have updated the Chatbot inside of the classroom 'Equitable & GDPR Disarming Debt Collectors' It is far more powerful than the older version, BUT it is a consumer debt tool, not for utility bills or council tax. The SARs and system is specifically designed for credit cards, bank loans, catalogues, payday loans, old accounts like mobiles etc, so do Not mix the process. If you are specific with it, it will guide you correctly. This tool will join forces with th full AI Agent that is currently being built, this is an AI tool that can assist you and any question on the GDPR and SAR process for consumer debt should be asked in here. It will constantly be updated to match the building of the AI Agent, the agent will walk you through the entire process, so once it gets to the N1 and court bundle sections, this AI Chatbot will be updated to match the AI Agent. The building of the agent itself has changed course a few times, this is due to the gaining of more knowledge and the omplementing of said coding knowledge. But it is coming to a conclusion soon and it will be added here as soon as it is complete. This will be a powerful tool to use for your debt challenges to the DCAs. Both the Agent and Chatbot are specifically trained in GDPR, DPA 2018, Equity, FCA, CCA, ICO and other specific legislation. It is formatted so it cannot halucinate, lie, create fake case laws, search dodgy websites, or take you in the wrong direction. Just remember, use it for consumer debt, using the correct tool for the specific job is vital, so no garden forks to hammer in a nail. Use it correctly and it will give the correct results🙏☺️💥

A Win Over the Parking Pirates – Two letters, One Victory 🏴‍☠️⚖️
Hi guys, Just a quick one — I had a bit of a scuffle with the infamous Horizon Parking Ltd. You know, the usual: they tried it on, I pushed back, and this time… I won. I’ll post the correspondence soon (with the sensitive bits redacted, of course), but I wanted to echo something Peter said ages ago — not sure which video, but it stuck with me. It was along the lines of: "We should take the info and attack these bandits from different angles. They’re always trying to plug loopholes in their dodgy practices, so we should be testing new stuff to see what works — build up plenty of attack vectors." So I gave it a go. Armed with intel from the Parking Pirates course and one of the videos about how you literally can't read the signs safely while driving, I skipped the GDPR route and went straight through their official appeals process. My message was basically: "Oi, I can’t read your signs and drive safely — drop the fee." They came back with some waffle about the signs meeting visibility standards. Which is nonsense, because unless you’ve got binoculars and a spare 10 minutes mid-drive, you’re not reading that small print. Then they gave me 14 days to respond — starting from the date the letter was printed, not received. The letter arrived with less than 5 days left on the clock. So I hit back with: "Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, this may constitute an unfair term. You only gave me 5 days to respond, and your countdown started from the moment the letter was printed." Their reply? "Thank you for your recent correspondence regarding the above Parking Charge, which we have reviewed. I can confirm the Parking Charge has now been cancelled and no further action will be taken in this matter." Boom. Two emails. Job done. Big thanks to @Peter Wilson , @Dave DimeBar and others for pointing out the simple stuff that gets results. If they hadn’t backed off, I was ready to go full GDPR, but I wanted to test a quicker route — something that might help others who don’t want to go full legal ninja.

My son used to get private parking tickets at his college, he had a permit, but it kept falling off the windscreen, also the car parks demarcations were non-existent. One of the contraventions was - not wholly parked within a bay. I argued that you couldn't see the bay, as the painted white line was so worn, the whole car park was like that 😅. Anyway when I SAR'd them, the parking company came back with their contract with the college (which they did by mistake) and lo and behold the actual contract was out of date 🤣 so they had no right to be be issuing tickets!
Driverless Taxi Trip
Something else, i have to say, would you do it? i must admit i was nervous, but hey, why not. An AI car, driving along many busy roads. No taxi drivers today, then no bus drivers, delivery drivers, Pilots?? Back in the 70s and 80s we had the Royal Navy ships on auto pilot, so in reality AI has been around for over 40 years

I'd be worried someone might hack it. I'm a nervous passenger anyway, think i'd need a sick bag 🤣
Affinity Water
Just had my water bill through this morning and i'm disgusted that for some years I was paying no more than £33 per month. It has now gone up to £54 per month. I want to write to them and dispute this amount. We are on a meter and my last years bill we used more water, but payed less per month. This year we use less and are paying more. Is there any template or other advise anyone could give me. Thanks

I just want to thank @Dave DimeBar for your structured letter template to Affinity water. I have just received my affinity water reviewed payment plan and they have put it back to the original payment of £33 per month. It just goes to show if you don't speak up these utility companies will walk all over you.

@Deborah Camp It sure is, makes me wonder as they still haven't answered the letter, however it looks like they couldn't justify it! 😀
Serious housing issues, need help
summary Need advice on: > the contract - can it be amended/revoked mid contract? > What do I do about the tyranical manager (agent of the landlord and head of 'care') who is only interested in her landlord duties and doesn't care about the harm she is doing me? > How do I get my reasonable adjustments? _________________________ I am temporarily in supported housing, basically due to having been made homeless 2 ish years ago and getting depressed from that. Also from trauma and losing my self esteem due to abuse in various ways from various people in authority. This comes down to being autistic, and for some reason that makes us a target; even high functioning Autists (autistic people) statistically have a much higher risk of abuse. there's research backing that up. I have been in this place since June this year, and I now have a list, almost as long as my arm of examples where the manager (who is the agent for the landlord AND overseeing my 'care' (conflict of interest?!)) has totally disregarded my autistic needs, which she knew about and mis- lead me into thinking they would be respected and catered for. Oh boy I couldn't have been more wrong. This clown has caused me multiple autistic meltdowns, denied me reasonable adjustments, and treated me with utter disregard. A few very examples. > I have a doctors letter saying I need a shower put in as a bath is not appropriate for me (due to my health issues) While I wait for that to happen, (which could take ages) there is a private shower in the common area. Same manager banned all tenants from using it, even in the stinking hot weather!! Wasn't even given the dignity of a reason, and she LOCKS the door when the staff leave for the day!!! > I am hyper sensitive to sound. same Manager knew this from the start and neglected to mention that there is a fire alarm (in addition to a smoke alarm) INSIDE my flat - which is tested WEEKLY!!! I feel utterly invaded. and it takes me over an hour to calm down each time it goes off.

If this person who is head of care, doesn't have a duty of care, surely that said person should be reported and investigated. I am so sorry you have to put up with this, it is totally unacceptable, not sure if your temporary housing is anything to do with the local authority, but there must be someone higher you can complain to. I do hope you get it sorted.
