I am temporarily in supported housing, basically due to having been made homeless 2 ish years ago and getting depressed from that. Also from trauma and losing my self esteem due to abuse in various ways from various people in authority. This comes down to being autistic, and for some reason that makes us a target; even high functioning Autists (autistic people) statistically have a much higher risk of abuse. there's research backing that up.

I have been in this place since June this year, and I now have a list, almost as long as my arm of examples where the manager (who is the agent for the landlord AND overseeing my 'care' (conflict of interest?!)) has totally disregarded my autistic needs, which she knew about and mis- lead me into thinking they would be respected and catered for.

Oh boy I couldn't have been more wrong. This clown has caused me multiple autistic meltdowns, denied me reasonable adjustments, and treated me with utter disregard. A few very examples.

> I have a doctors letter saying I need a shower put in as a bath is not appropriate for me (due to my health issues) While I wait for that to happen, (which could take ages) there is a private shower in the common area. Same manager banned all tenants from using it, even in the stinking hot weather!! Wasn't even given the dignity of a reason, and she LOCKS the door when the staff leave for the day!!!

> I am hyper sensitive to sound. same Manager knew this from the start and neglected to mention that there is a fire alarm (in addition to a smoke alarm) INSIDE my flat - which is tested WEEKLY!!! I feel utterly invaded. and it takes me over an hour to calm down each time it goes off.

I asked for reasonable adjustments, - for it to not go off every week. I was ignored. I asked to see the fire regulations they 'have' to abide by, I was ignored. Going to try this week to talk to the person who tests the alarm as I found out on line that they can be tested silently. If this doesn't work I think I'll just rip the damnn thing off the ceeling - but then that will all be my fault, not caused by them at all!

> She also knew right from the start that I had meltdowns when things were dropped on me without warning. I need everything planned in advance, (and to be consulted so that any appointments where workmen need to come into the flat are actually arranged WITH me, not for me, so that it's convenient. That's surely just common courtesy?!) This never happens - this morning someone knocked on my door, which she allowed to happen as everyone has to be let in (ie, the trade button doesn't work on purpose) I wasn't expecting anyone so didn't open it.start panicking as I do with unexpected things, Then see a text from that manager saying someone's turned up to fix something in my flat!

And the contract, oh boy! I'm not even sure all of it is even legal.

I changed some of it which same manager signed, but she didn't realise she was signing my amended contract. (I did miss a couple of big things which I'm now cringing at) but because of her utter disregard for me, and her being totally in love with bossing everyone around because she's in love with her power (that's exactly how it comes across to me) I am now too nervous to tell her that I amended the contract.

There are other silly mistakes I made that I can now see but didn't realise then. So I am wondering if i can have the whole lot revoked and start again? I was trying my best to change all the dodgey parts of the contract, but at that point I was so stressed, I missed a few big things. And there is also that fear of if I don't agree to their terms no matter how unfair they are, they'll kick me out. So It seems like tenants of any kind are always at a disadvantage.

If there was still private rented flats in my area I would be out of here like a shot, but there's nothing in my area, and the occasional one that turns up is way over priced.

Went to the CAB today, because I feel like if someone talks to her on my behalf, they may have better lick than I have. Unfortunately they were useless!
