Anyone else here dealing with both ADHD and tinnitus?
Hey everyone, I’m curious if anyone else here has this combo, because I’ve had both ADHD and tinnitus for many years now, but lately they’ve been tag-teaming me a bit. Whenever my tinnitus spikes, my focus drops even more. I’ll be in the middle of something, and suddenly my attention gets dragged away by the ringing. Then when I try to go back to what I was doing, I end up jumping to a completely different task... and then another… and suddenly I’m scattered across five things instead of finishing the one I started. As a solopreneur, on some days, this is pretty much destroying my productivity. 😔 I’ve been using sound therapies and some simple relaxation techniques during the day to help me pull my focus back. I also try to stay away from medication on purpose. Not sure if this is good or bad (for productivity). I'm wondering what other people are doing in these situations. Any tips or shared experiences would be really helpful. 🙏

@Melissa Fuller if it's occasional, try to pay attention what's happening or changing right before you get it. Maybe stress bursts, maybe food you eat occasionally as well. There's typically a connection that's easy to miss. Even TMJ and neck issues can be causing this. Have you done a hearing test recently? That can reveal either some high frequencies loss or other mid ear issues.

@Asha Hope No, I have not. I like to mold my own mind. lol Have you tried it? Helpful?
Unintentionally, made my first sale as an entrepreneur?
The old saying goes "when life gives you lemons🍋, you... throw them to feel better". I clearly don't have that saying down which might explain why my life stays interesting. Last week I found myself navigating an unexpected transition at my job. I quit.👋 But that’s not even the story. I still had my own leads (prospecting queen 👑 behavior), I signed a referral agreement with a partner I trust in the industry… and then boom💣 : closed won. In my head, it was just me helping someone who needed AI guidance. But in my 1:1 with @Bill, he pointed out something I completely missed. I accidentally made my first sale as an entrepreneur. Me? An entrepreneur??? What the hellyyyyy. ❓ I double-checked my NDA, and as long as I’m not poaching customers, I’m allowed to pursue this path. I can’t share specifics on the deal, but I can say I made more than I would’ve at the company I left. I’ve always wondered how people discover the ideas that launch them into entrepreneurship. Nothing ever clicked for me. Turns out… sometimes the idea finds you. I’m grateful because there was no plan B to quitting my job.😂 I would’ve hated for my 3–5 years of AI experience and hard-earned relationships to go to waste.

ADHD FF TITLES: CHAOS ADDITION
You all have been showing up with such ridiculous levels of charm, chaos, sweetness, and support that I couldn’t help myself. It’s time for our very first ADHD Community Titles celebrating the quirks, the kindness, and the moments that make this space feel alive. I am kicking this tradition off with FIVE amazing members and their new titles!! 1. “Chief Joy Spotter & Certified Dog-Heart Documentarian” For @Melissa Fuller She earns this for catching little moments of sweetness and posting them like National Geographic for Feel-Good Moments.📷 2. “Community Glue Award: Strongest Supportive Force in the Known ADHD Universe” For @Asha Hope Don't think that I haven't noticed, there is hardly a post that goes without support from you! You are a trailblazer of kind hearts and community glue! 🥰 3. “Executive Dysfunction Legend & Supreme Finder of Lost Refrigerator Keys” For @Jorick Sikkes You showed up, in a peak of chaos, and brought laughter and smiles to all around! Good on you, Sir!🌟 4. “Stormbringer of Brilliant Half-Finished Thoughts” For @Eurm E By the way, we are now accepting more storms, sir. We love when you show up and we need more to satiate our chaotic brains 🧠 5. “Conversation Catalyst & Momentum Maker” for @Jasmine Doyle For sparking the threads everyone actually wants to jump into! You always show up with something thought provoking and fun to engage with! We are proud to have you here! Want your name up in the lights too? Keep showing up and being you, we are watching. We see you and we love it all!🥰

Amazing @Bill Widmer! Have fun (for us too)! Beautiful country!! What side of CR you guys are in? That beach looks like the ones in the north west, but they're all probably very similar on that side of CR.

@Bill Widmer if it wasn't expensive, I'd probably live there. Amazing views, people, and general atmosphere!
