Sad news
I just found out that my niece Victoria Meza was murdered by her boyfriend. She went into ICU today and there's nothing they can do so they are going to pull the plug once her mom gets there. She was only 21 years old and her boyfriend beat her to death. Prayers for the family would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

Creating Awareness for Clearing
I am new and just started The Somatic ARC Framework-part 1. I chose to reflect on the question, If awareness is a doorway to more freedom, what’s one small way I can step through it today? I am working on being more aware of my words, actions and triggers. I took time to myself to reflect on a recent moment when I was pushed over the edge by my children (arguing amongst themselves) I calmly asked them to stop multiple time all the while noticing my stress levels rise. Somewhere along the way I was now being argued with, now causing my levels to rise higher and quicker. At this point I’m not only attempting to get them to stop but also informing them I need a me moment to clam down…I eventually loose it meaning I’m no longer calm I’m Anger from the kids movie Inside Out! A can’t seem to calm my voice I can only yell…they did at this point stop arguing but at what cost. I’m still stressed about the whole situation. I did finally get 10 minutes to myself and I calmed down. Now, reflecting on the situation I realize that arguments in general is a trigger from my past and I’m not sure how to properly respond to it. So, I see myself responding in the same way my mother did(still does) when I was a child. Therefore, this is a learned response, now realizing I was never taught the proper response. So, how do I forget and relearn the correct way to deal with arguments?

Hi Georgia, I just wanted to say that you’re definitely in the right place. The somatic breathing lessons and exercises here really helped me. I wish I had this when raising my own children! I now live with my daughter and hubby, and it has helped with my grandchildren and the adult relationships.
Back again
Lol I guess I said hello some time ago. I also guess I was more daunted than curious back then.

WOW Y'all that one was so deep and so much fun! @Steven Jaggers and I dropped in on the concept of Never Wasting A Trigger. Triggers are in fact one of the greatest gifts we can receive because they show us where we are not free and present us with the opportunity to choose a different path. If you missed the live conversation click the video below and tune in. This is one of those conversation we all could listen to time and time again.

Never waste a trigger. I had to go back three times during this podcast because of my triggers. And I won’t waste them! I am so grateful I started my day with this podcast. So much insight and truth. Thank you

I think, for me, healing and inner resilience. There are so many layers to clear, then rest and digest. Practising daily breath work is so helpful. Yesterday I was driving and my anger popped up. I did not know at first why, but it was building. I did not know what to do, but my body did! I started breathing to clear, then a quick reset of my nervous system. I was able to stay mindful with my driving too. I did not have to pull over for a full emotional release. That was later when it was safe.
