Attract cold leads online, final instalment of 5
How can you attract cold leads online? The final instalment of a series of 5. As you know in this series, I have been covering the 5 main ways to attract cold leads and potential clients. This is how you get your audience get to know, like, and trust you. The 5 main ways are: 1. Inform – tell them what you offer (covered in part 1) 2. Educate – this makes you an authority (covered in part 2) 3. Inspire – will build trust (covered in part 3) 4. Connect – build relationships (covered in part 4) 5. Entertain – engages and breaks the ice. (Today’s final Instalment) 5. ENTERTAIN Engages and breaks the ice with potential and new customers. a. Memes Humourous or relatable images, videos, or graphics that take reference from popular culture or trends. Example: A funny image of a dog with the caption: “When you realize it’s Monday, but coffee hasn’t kicked in yet.” Memes are highly shareable and help your brand appear approachable and in tune with your audience's humour. b. Humour. Posts designed to make your audience laugh or smile, often with playful or witty captions. Example: “Why did the coffee file a police report? It got mugged!” Why it matters: Humour creates a positive association with your brand and encourages engagement in a light-hearted way. c. Challenge Encouraging your audience to participate in fun activities or trends. Example: “Can you balance a book on your head for 10 seconds? Share your videos and tag us for a chance to be featured!” Challenges inspire interaction, boost engagement, and encourage user- generated content. d. Giveaways Promotions where participants have the chance to win something by completing simple tasks like liking, sharing, or commenting on your posts. Example: “🎉 GIVEAWAY TIME! 🎉 Like this post and tag a friend to enter to win a $50 gift card!” Increases visibility, attracts new followers, and rewards your audience for their support. e. Competitions. Events where participants submit entries, such as photos or ideas, to win prizes based on merit or votes.

Reflecting on 2024
As we are coming to the end of 2024 it's a great time to reflect on the year that is coming to a close. Here are some prompts to help you reflect: 1. Achievements - what have you achieved this year? Big or small, an achievement is an achievement. What goals have you reached and ticked-off? What progress towards longer term goals have you accomplished? What bucket list items have you done? Where have you stepped outside your comfort zone? 2. What things are you most proud of? Do you have better / healthier habits instilled? What accolades have you acquired? This may tie-in to achievements above. 3. What things are you grateful for? New acquaintances? New opportunities? New ways of thinking and being? 4. What are your favourite memories of 2024? Family, health, business or personal. Looking through your photos, which ones jump out at you? Which memories have left a lasting impression on you? 5. How would you sum up the year in a quote? Share you answers below in the comments section.

Attract more leads
How can you attract cold leads online? Part 1 of a series of 5. In this series I shall be covering the 5 main ways to attract cold leads and potential clients. This is how you get your audience get to know, like, and trust you. The 5 main ways are: 1. Inform – tell them what you offer 2. Educate – this makes you an authority 3. Inspire – will build trust 4. Connect – build relationships 5. Entertain – engages and breaks the ice. 1. INFORM. Tell your audience what you offer. a. Products – what products you offer and the benefits of each. Showcase your products with photos Your audience are interested in WIIFM – What’s in it for me (them)? Why should they buy this product, what is the outcome for them? A lot of rookie entrepreneurs focus on the features of the product, which is interesting, but not the main reason someone buys. The main reason someone buys is to either solve a problem or to avoid a problem in the future. b. Services – what services you offer and pretty much the same information as products, the benefits the potential client can expect to derive from each service you provide. Remember they are interested in WIIFM? Showcase each service. Focus on the benefits and the outcomes. c. Business Information – who, what, where and why? Who are you? Who are your target market? What are your values, vision and mission? Where are you based, and where do you operate? Why do you do what you do? This is a way your audience can get to know you better. d. Blog posts – about your products or services, company news, events etc. Have interviews with clients and other industry professionals. Challenge current trends and opinions e. Promotional Materials – Information downloads, discount coupons etc. Also includes printed and digital materials such as: Brochures and Catalogues Banners for events Flyers Email Newsletters Samples f. Offers – New products or services, flash sales, discount codes etc. Other ideas include: Bundle Deals Buy one get one free / reduced cost
