Armani Code Parfum - Daily Driver Worthy
Bought this after sampling at a local Ulta/Sephora. Figured it would be a good daily scent to wear for work and also just a good average day scent. Definitely enjoying the smooth notes and texture (on my nose) of this scent. I can see it being extremely versatile for me as an all-day scent that goes on early in the day for work/errands and then reapplying at night before a dinner out. It's not a "blow you away" experience but a good mature scent that seems like a swiss army knife. Projection seems good as I'm 4 hours in and still smelling it. I have a feeling this will be the scent for the indecisive days where I go, "I don't know what I want to wear today". Also definitely a four season scent I can see wearing all year round. I'm not an oversprayer but I feel i could get away being a little more aggressive with sprays on this without being offensive and blowing people away. Since I work in close proximity to people, I try to be mindful of that.

@Dave Anderson sadly my nose isn’t as trained to give a more accurate description. But they are both great scents.
Dallas TX Fragrance Testing
Anyone in the Dallas area, or anyone that has experience in fragrance shopping, that can tell me where the best locations are? Im tracking Neiman Marcus at Northpark, the Le Labo store, and The Scent Room. Anywhere else I should be visiting. Ill be there in a couple of weeks.

Depending when you're around Jeff, I'd be interested in a field trip with you! I live on the Northwest side of the metroplex. Neiman Marcus is the only place I've found Niche stuff locally but just learned of the Scent Room.

@Lon Chaneyfield I may go on a “scouting trip” tomorrow now. Y’all got me all excited!
Last of the Rapid fire series
I hope you enjoy participating in this quick answer seris ment to help get to know each other a little bit better. 1. What is the longest-lasting fragrance in your collection? 2. Skin or Clothes? (Where do you spray for the best results?) 3. What fragrance makes you feel the most confident? 4. The "Coziest" scent you own for a rainy day? 5. How many sprays do you consider "Normal"?

1. Either Naxos or Tobacco Vanille 2. Both 3. Naxos (yeah I have a favorite clearly😂) 4. I’d probably either wear Armani Code or Azzaro Most Wanted Intense 5.Yeah I was a “sissy sprayer” prior to joining the Brotherhood. 1-3 tops. Now I’d say probably 6-9 sprays (of anything except Tobacco Vanille) would be “normal”.
Post 2: Situational Scent
Counting with our Rapid Fire exercise. Here are six quick questions to let us know what you would wear in different scenarios. 1. Your #1 "First Date" scent? 2. What’s your "White T-Shirt" fragrance (easy, casual, everyday)? 3. The best scent for a summer heatwave? 4. Your "Power Scent" for a big meeting or interview? 5. What do you wear to bed? (Or is that weird?) 6. What do you grab when you’re on vacation ?

Seeing as I'm new to collecting and still building my list of fragrances for occasions, I'll do my best to answer with where I am on my journey. 1. Depends on the date. If it's someone younger, I'd probably go with a Creed Absolu Aventus or YSL Myslf. An older or more mature date would be more along the lines of a Naxos or D&G The One, or Dior Homme. 2. RIght now Armani Code Parfum or PDM Layton 3. I haven't had my collection for a summer heatwave yet. So I envision this answer being along the lines of LV Imagination (after I tested a decant from microperfumes or scentsplit) or Xerjoff Renaissance. 4. Naxos or PDM Haltane probably. 5. So I was just thinking about this question of bedtime fragrances. The other day I tried Bond No 9 Greenwich Village and thought "this would be so pleasant to sleep in" and for a few nights now I've been wearing the sample at night. I think I'll actually get a bottle at a discounter and use it for this purpose. I don't really see myself wanting to wear this out much socially, but it does strike me as a comforting bed scent. 6. Vacation Scent would be situational. However I'd probably bring 2-3 at a minimum for various scenarios (nice dinner night fragrance, one daily driver, and one fitting the destination).

@Raul Olveda Thanks for making a brother feel welcome! I'm definitely enjoying it here!
Sotd: Hero EDT
This is slowly becoming my office dumb reach. Simple but just works. I an curious to see how it’d perform in a relatively hotter weather.

@Edward Mooney Ulta has travel size ones for $30. That's how I got this one to test out. EDT and EDP. You may have to go to a couple to find them as I've notice some stores have them and others don't due to holidays or rotating inventory.

I've got these in the queue to test drive coming up. Hope to have a favorable review as well!
