Wishing your week away
Pardon the philosophical deep dive on a Sunday, but it has a little do do with what happens on Sunday in America. As I sit and watch the Saints on this day, I watch the people who take the time to get dressed up to go to watch the game in preson. I see the commercials about how people are ho hum on weekdays but on Gameday they are a different person. As if their lives revolve around the NFL season. I remember an old boss of mine said that once we arrive at late August, he starts to “wish” his week away. He’s a season ticket holder for the New Orleans Saints and his week once football season begins his weeks revolves around these games. While it’s great to be a fan of something, to live and die for the this seems a little weird as I age. I’m no angel when it comes to this, as if you’ve seen my posts I am die hard Alabama fan and my Saturday’s are very strict in what I don or won’t do because of my superstitious tendencies concerning Gameday, as I know there are many others out there with similar mindsets. As I’ve gotten older, I reflect more on how many weeks I’ve “wished” away because I kept wising for it to be Saturday. While I feel it’s healthy to have a hobby, appreciation, anything to fill your life outside of work, I’ve grown to stake that time to appreciate the now, smell the roses, or as I like to do look for that four leaf clover. If you’ve taken the time to read this, I thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts.

Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow. I try to live everyday the best I can and while some days are harder than others, every day is a gift to be cherished.

It’s still 80 F where I live but I’m trying to slide into fall. Running some errands and then outdoor music this evening. Lightweight khakis, seersucker shirt, and suede loafers. Summer diver and my dad’s bracelet and ring. How does it look? Thanks for your constructive advice.

I agree I think you hit a home run.
With @anthony on this
I just finished watching Erika Kirk’s address from the podium. The evil in this world that thinks they took out someone they didn’t like, it just back fired, Charlie stood for the cause and stayed the path and he just created millions of Charlie Kirk’s all over the entire WORLD!!! The evil ones are so lost that they have no clue the spiritual fire that was just released . There’s a spiritual warfare movement coming Brothers, make sure your on the right side of this, make sure your walking out what your calling is!! Right now is the time to stand up and be heard throughout your area and the world. I know Ive shared Matthew 28 before, go out and teach, preach and baptize those around you!!! I def feel Mrs. Kirk’s Heart in what she said and she is absolutely right, the time is now, we the chosen that know the truth are now on the offense !!! The devil done just messed up , and he’s gonna mess his drawers now that the Kirk’s of the world are awaken and are on offense !!! Have to add this as @Gunny Khan and others on here as well as myself know, in the physical world during war there are rules of engagement and most time we have to wait to be attacked first , well Gentlemen this is spiritual warfare , there are no rules of engagement, get on offence and take the fight to the devil !!! Regardless of anyone’s backgrounds you need to be about life and treating others the way you want to be treated !!! The Golden rule !!! You need to reach others and teach them the ways of a strong Gentleman and what we are about . There needs to be action , let’s not talk about it but be about it Gents Be Driven, Be Blessed, Be filled with Spiritual Fire Brothers, Be in the Offence Padre
