First weekend complete!
Haven't been posting much, but still hanging in there. I've been out of town this weekend helping a friend build a house, which has been my workouts for the weekends, but I've also been walking three miles a day. My friends have been super supportive of my diet which made the weekend much easier for me! Burger patties, spicy cheese, and farm fresh eggs! Beef jerky for snacks and medjool dates for dessert!

Day 6 - got it done
Too many competing priorities but got my non-negotiables in. Exactly a week from the marathon. Plan to be very intentional about how I structure my upcoming week. Not sure how I feel about the marathon but one thing is certain - I will finish it.
Day 6 - got it done
First weekend on First50
Not only survived, but thrived. I was hurting pretty bad this morning. Combination of 4 tough workouts on Saturday + some soccer injuries (first game back this year; training for a Nov 15th tournament). Woke up at 7:30am and couldn’t move. Got up, tried to walk, couldn’t put weight on my left foot. Ugh. Back to bed. I never do this. But the pain was real. At 10:20am I forced myself up because I knew there were 2 things I HAD TO DO: daily burpee challenge and daily pushup challenge. So I got to work. 12:20PM burpee livestream. 5:15PM pushup livestream. Crushed both. It’s in these moments that I build self-belief. I’ll sleep like a baby tonight, and tomorrow I’ll wake up stronger. Let’s go kick some ass this week.

Day 5 - lots of walking
Walked a lot today. Tried to take a nap but with an active toddler that wasn’t in the books today. We headed for round 3 of walking in the evening and made the most of it. Meal prepped. Didn’t know you could cook ground beef in an air fryer until recently, game changer. Wrapped up my night with a Calisthenics: upper body & core workout. Yes, I didn’t add any oils because ground beef already has a ton.
