100 of Your Worst Days..
Confidence is a huge part of Personal Style. You’ve survived 100% of your worst days—think about that. 💡 There was a time I felt stuck, drowning in self-doubt and fear. But then I realized: ‘Every setback is a setup for a comeback.’ (Les Brown). I stopped running from pain and started learning from it. 🌱 Small wins—just 1% improvement daily—became my secret weapon. Suddenly, life shifted: abundance replaced scarcity, passion fueled purpose, and failure became my greatest teacher. Every moment became a source of fulfillment and joy as I found purpose and reason in all. 🚀 What if your challenges are just stepping stones to your best, most handsome, and confident self? The only way out is through. 🌟 Keep going—you’ve got this!" 💪✨

Building a Dapper Dream: Your Suit Recommendations Needed
I’ve been thrifting regularly as part of my business, and I often stumble across designer brands in clothing. Lately, I find myself drawn to the suits section. However, I have to admit, my knowledge about suits is limited beyond a few well-known crossovers. Being part of this group has really opened my eyes to the importance of suit quality, and it’s made me realize that while I’ve been intrigued by quality suits for years, I’ve never fully explored them. Deep down, I’ve always had this aspiration to look sharp and dapper—something I hope to refine with inspiration and insights from all of you gentlemen here. That being said, I could really use your expertise! Could you share the one or few suits you would *dream* of finding? I’m planning to use your suggestions as a guide to educate myself, start building my own collection, and potentially even venture into reselling.

@Brian McGuire This is incredibly insightful! Thank you SO MUCH for such a detailed and helpful comment! As someone who loves upcycling and thrifting, I wouldn’t have initially thought to go directly to a store. However, after reading your comment, I can clearly see how it could greatly enhance my awareness.

If you had to design an outfit starting with a watch, could you?
If you had to design an outfit around a wrist watch what kind of style would you go for? What kind of clothes would you get and from where? Please see the pictures and tell me. The watch is from a micro-brand (one man operation) in my hometown of Bergen in Norway called Forteller. The model is "The Engineer Diver".

@Lars Kamenec love that you added your choice of scent! I may need to go join BOS because I've never thought to match my colognes and oils with outfits! I've only ever worn or mixed my smells for mood or effect... But to match with tonality!? Warm fresh smells to compliment the colors.... Of course! Woah 🤦🎊 I love life.

@Lars Kamenec I love this! This is exactly why I adore this group. Thank you so much, Lars. Since my teenage years, I’ve been collecting colognes and, for a time, I was even the main "scent-smith" for bespoke, custom colognes and perfumes. I based these on the benefits of essential oils for my friend's handmade goods business. Despite all my years of loving scents, I had never thought of pairing them in that way. Sadly, a severe sinus infection followed by a round of COVID caused me to lose several notes of smell. Since then, my personal style has undergone a radical transformation. Now, I wish I had my full sense of smell to complement my burgeoning sense of style, which continues to evolve as I learn and grow here in this group. Although I no longer find the same passion in scents as I once did—mainly because I miss it so deeply—this journey has sparked a new appreciation for self-expression in ways I hadn’t considered before.

@Brian McGuire thank you, my dear Sir! For your profile, and your contributions. Easier to look sharp than live sharp and you seem to do both!
The 90-Second Hack to Mastering Your Emotions—Backed by Science
In my pursuit of my own style I have found that self-discipline is an absolutely necessary character trait. Ever notice how emotions can feel like they own you—like they barge in, throw a tantrum, and refuse to leave? Here’s the deal though: emotions are actually just your body’s chemical reaction to a thought, and here's the magic part—they only chemically “live” for about 90 seconds. Yup, a minute and a half. After that, the only reason you're still spiraling, still stuck in anger, fear, or sadness, is because you keep feeding the thought that sparked the storm in the first place. So what if you just didn't? What if you let the feeling arise, acknowledged it, but didn’t add fuel to the fire? If you can stay grounded, present, or—let’s be real—just think about literally anything else for those crucial 90 seconds, the emotion will naturally dissolve on its own. Like a storm cloud passing across a clear blue sky, it doesn’t have the power to hang around unless you cling to it. It’s not always easy, sure, but mastering this can completely shift how you experience the emotions you don’t want weighing you down. That, my friend, is emotional alchemy. What thoughts does this spark for you?

@Carl Ronny Birkeland I believe I've expressed my view on this fairly eloquently in other comments here 🤷‍♂️ My lack of style before I learned this skill (as you noted elsewhere) compared to the confidence I found in my own style (as it is still evolving) and the ability to stand firm under scrutiny when at one point social interaction at that level would have sent me into a mild episode of agoraphobia and severe social anxiety. Now I'm the center of attention-without even Trying. part of it-a big one- is the control I have over my own emotions, mind, and reactions to others. Far from infallible, this description should give some clue as to the transition it allowed even while incomplete.
