My fitness this morning
I did more like 8 mins of resistance bands but the first 3 min it didn't video all so I deleted that one and did a other one for 5 minute and did a low impact more walking in the video and some stretching plus 4 time my technique of 4-7-8 breathing

Wow! The accountability of posting this consistently is such a powerful tool! Proud of you for doing that, Rebecca! Keep it up! You are killing it!!!

I'm based in Bali but I was born in a pirate island in the Caribbean called Cuba. I joined this community because Arthur forced me. 😂 Nah, just kidding. I joined mainly because I love traveling, awareness about mental health and relenltess self-improvement saved my life and turned it into a dream come true and nowadays, in this age of internet and excessive virtual connection we are the loneliest we have ever been, the most atomized, and while other social media platforms only exacerbate this issue skool is the only one that fosters real deep connections and even allows us to take those connections out of the internet and into the real world. The greatest lesson I have learned in my life so far is VERY hard to pinpoint because I have lived my life in pursuit for knowledge and understanding and I feel like I have learned so much. Still I know so little. I'd say that one of the biggest lessons I have learned is that I am not my thoughts, I am not my feelings... I am the thing which can observe them and I can chose my reactions to them. Between stimuli and response there's a gap, in such gap lies absolute freedom. Understanding this and applying it into my life has been one of the greatest insights and most powerful advantages I have managed to integrate and to be honest... there's a lot to talk about this subject but I'll try to keep it short. To develop this awareness, to expand your awareness... meditation has been by far the most powerful tool for me, combined also with gratitude journaling and deep journaling. My favorite place in the world is by far Bali... no, wait sorry, more specific even: Canggu, Bali... no, wait, even better: Tribal, Canggu, Bali. I have met my family in that place, and the memories I treasure are far more precious to me than gold itself. I spent 4 years into a chronic depression and honestly I was thinking about killing myself. I thought the solution might be a relationship and I got the girl of my dreams, this beautiful redhair from Spain... guess what? Disney lied to me, broooo!!! The girl ain't the solution... even though we had a lovely 3 year relationship and everything... she didn't solve my bad mental health. I was still thinking about killing myself.

@Elizabeth O'Carroll thank you so much, Elizabeth! I'm really glad to be here. And I'm curious... which part of my story did you resonate the most with?
My fucketlist
Well, since the bucketlist challenge is being introduced, I'd like to show you my fucketlist which is something familiar to this one we're doing here. I wrote it at the end of 2023 and put 50 things on it to get them done in 4 years. There are many fucketlists with some crazy items on them but mine isn't like that. It mainly consists of things I truly honor and care about. I was so excited to write it because I knew once it was on the paper I would focus on it much more than I would if it wasn't on any paper or a list lol :) And that's what happened. In 2024 I think I ticked off 13 items which was so fun and needed because I gained confidence, started loving my life and myself more, I've never been more grateful in my whole life and I read so many good stories, learned so much, saw people do impossible things and realised what this life is REALLY about :) <3 So, here's a picture when I first wrote it, now some things are crossed off, I'll upload the current look of it too for you to see! Travelling was amazing, as you can imagine, we all love exploring new places <3 I started running because I always wanted to try it and once I put it on the list my whole new journey began! I've been to some races and I'm going to another one today and can't wait to feel that thrill and community vibe again!!! I shot out of a gun (SO fun), solved the Rubik's cube (not that hard), finally stopped biting my nails, rode a bike for 42km, started reading more and even joined a book club and changed my view of my studies, the university as an institution and my abilities to actually finish it! I've been feeling motivated, empowered, courageous, hyped up and honestly like a superhero just by changing my routine, habits, goals and state of mind! I'd highly recommend you write your own and start living YOUR best life <333

Wow! Anastasija, this is truly amazing! I'm so happy for you and to see how you have taken personal responsability for your own life and chose with determination the things you wanted to do and actually started doing them! I mean... I don't even know where to start. This is truly a testament to what the human will can acomplish when we set our minds to do something and we use our intention in the right way. Really glad to see it in action! Goal setting, in any way, shape or form truly makes our dreams into something tangible and actually achievable and like a ship setting course for a port of destination we would be stranded in the ocean of chaos if we were never to chose where we want to go and what we want to do in our lives so huge shoutout to you for having the courage to set goals and start moving towards them with determination and a cheerful attitude. Enthusiasm is truly a poweful kind of magic. PS: You're from Serbia?! That's soooooooooooooooo friking awesome! I have a very deep connection to this magical place... glad to see someone from there in this amazing community.

I'm sorry to hear that Rebecca. Why do you think you feel like you are not good enough to be in a relationship? For me, when I have felt like that has always steemed from not being comofortable with being by myself. The way I have found grounding on my own life and for myself has been by taking care of myself exactly like I'd take care someone I really loved. By establishing a healthy routine of working out, reading and meditating in order to improve conistently body, mind and soul 1% every day. Taking small steps in the right direction every day, no matter how small they might seem and showing up for myself no matter what. When we learn to be confortable in solitude and we learn to give love consistently to ourselves is the moment we learn also how to give love to others. It is very hard to pour from an empty cup so we must learn to fill up our own cup first before we are able to give ourselves to someone else... to be able to give ourselves to someone else we must learn to first own ourselves. Ownership comes before giving... you cannot give what you don't have, I would say. I hope this helps. If you want to talk, I'm here. Thank you for sharing.
