˚✿˖°my introduction˚✿˖°
hi everyone! I'm Layla ☾ If this group is even half as wonderful as my friend Anastasija, then I’m truly happy I decided to join! She shared so many great stories about it, and they really inspired me to become a part of this too. I would love to keep improving myself while also supporting others on their journey of growth and evolution. I’m not sure if I’ve learned my biggest life lesson yet, but something that helped me a lot was a thought that we are neither better, worse, nor equal to others, because there is actually no scale. We’re all unique, each with our own time to shine. My friend Anastasija is a rose, I’m a chrysanthemum, and each of you is your own flower. We can all bloom together. ✿ For a few years, I wandered through a shadowed path, weighed down by doubt and restlessness. But I chose to turn inward and forward, to honor the projects I began and to nurture the bonds around me. So happy to be here and excited to meet you all! I’ve included a few pictures of me and some things I love.

Introducing Lisa Black!
Hello beautiful people!! 1. I'm @Lisa Black and I am a self proclaimed Gypsy. I've lived and traveled all over the USA, but currently reside in Houston TX. 2. I am always looking for new ways to keep grounded and have a healthy mindset. 3. I know what's best for me. Everyone can have an opinion and help me discover that, but in the end I have to do what is in alignment with myself. 4. The Beach!! 5. I've had a lot of experience with mental health and healing in general. I've been through a lot and have overcome a lot. I was also married to someone who had PTSD from being in the US Army. See photo under introductions post!

I'm based in Bali but I was born in a pirate island in the Caribbean called Cuba. I joined this community because Arthur forced me. 😂 Nah, just kidding. I joined mainly because I love traveling, awareness about mental health and relenltess self-improvement saved my life and turned it into a dream come true and nowadays, in this age of internet and excessive virtual connection we are the loneliest we have ever been, the most atomized, and while other social media platforms only exacerbate this issue skool is the only one that fosters real deep connections and even allows us to take those connections out of the internet and into the real world. The greatest lesson I have learned in my life so far is VERY hard to pinpoint because I have lived my life in pursuit for knowledge and understanding and I feel like I have learned so much. Still I know so little. I'd say that one of the biggest lessons I have learned is that I am not my thoughts, I am not my feelings... I am the thing which can observe them and I can chose my reactions to them. Between stimuli and response there's a gap, in such gap lies absolute freedom. Understanding this and applying it into my life has been one of the greatest insights and most powerful advantages I have managed to integrate and to be honest... there's a lot to talk about this subject but I'll try to keep it short. To develop this awareness, to expand your awareness... meditation has been by far the most powerful tool for me, combined also with gratitude journaling and deep journaling. My favorite place in the world is by far Bali... no, wait sorry, more specific even: Canggu, Bali... no, wait, even better: Tribal, Canggu, Bali. I have met my family in that place, and the memories I treasure are far more precious to me than gold itself. I spent 4 years into a chronic depression and honestly I was thinking about killing myself. I thought the solution might be a relationship and I got the girl of my dreams, this beautiful redhair from Spain... guess what? Disney lied to me, broooo!!! The girl ain't the solution... even though we had a lovely 3 year relationship and everything... she didn't solve my bad mental health. I was still thinking about killing myself.

Hi 👋
My name is Eric. Born in PA, Raised in NJ, Living the dream in WV. I have over 30 years of lived experience with mental health challenges and over 10 years experience in mental health coaching...my breakthroughs started when I realized who I surround myself with matters...having a core group of supporters matters...and leaning on God matters. I wanted to join this group to connect with like-minded people... I also just started a SKOOL community.
Introductions :)
Hi everyone, I just wanted to jump in here to introduce myself! My name is Alina and I’ve been part of the J.A.M community since around April/May this year! In just under 12 days - thanks to J.A.M - I’ll be going to Tanzania Africa with @Ellen Bain ! Ellen is not only my cousin but also my coworker and at work together in April this year she sprung on me the question “Do you want to come with me to Africa?” Quickly adding “you have until Sunday to let me know!” That same day we made up our minds, we were going to be going on the journey of a lifetime. J.A.M and @Arthur Maddocks-Brown teachings of Mental Health and the communities uplifting spirits and encouragement to improve mental health have really resonated with me. Admittedly, I have struggled a lot with mental health over the years. Depression and Anxiety have been my biggest battles, especially after silently battling chronic illness in the form of Ankylosing Spondylitis since I was 14. Long story short I was a competitive Irish Dancer on a National and World level before my world turned upside down when I suddenly couldn’t walk one day without screaming in severe pain. 9 years ago this began and I have since finally been officially diagnosed, correctly medicated (after A LOT of trial and error) and am able to walk pain free again. I have also recently been diagnosed with ADHD which hasn’t helped. 2025 has been a massive year for focusing on my mental health and I honestly couldn’t have joined this community at a better time. The support, lessons taught and strategies given have been incredible and I couldn’t be more thankful. I am absolutely ecstatic to be going on this journey to Africa with Ellen and J.A.M. It is going to be the adventure of a lifetime and a big tick off the bucket list! I can’t wait for this opportunity and to share my adventures ♥️ Thank you ☺️
