I purchased Outlands last December during the initial release and fell in love with its complexity. The composition includes over 20 notes as it opens with citrus, led by a zesty lemon. It thickens with the emergence of patchouli. It dries down dominated by an amber accord with balsams and resins. - Top Notes: Cardamom, Bergamot, Lemon, Sichuan Pepper, Elemi, Frankincense - Heart Notes: Patchouli, Rose, Orange Blossom, Cumin, Geranium, Davana, Saffron, Anise, Coriander - Base Notes: Benzoin, Labdanum, Amber, Ambergris, Frankincense, Opoponax, Vanilla, Birch, Musks, and Oud The last time that I wore Outlands, I couldn't figure out why I was still smelling it in my bedroom a week later. I realized that the fragrance was still pushing off the shirt that I wore that week. The amazing thing is that I didn't spray it shirt. It transferred off my skin, admittedly, though, I can be a heavy sprayer. I enjoy the quality and uniqueness of this fragrance; however, its use is best limited to cooler weather. This is now hard to find in the US, although Neiman's appears to have solid stock. Pretty expensive, it does not qualify as a safe blind buy. @Lon Chaneyfield - congratulations, you inspired my SOTD.
