Busy time. G-kids, coast ๐ŸŒŠ , mountains ๐Ÿ”๏ธ , an unusual slew of doctor appointments: cardiologist, dermatologist, internist, dentist, X-rays, โ€ฆIโ€™m ok, just a creaky knee that might need to be tightened up. Routine out the window but I managed to get in some exercises. But today I wanted to see if I still had it. Did a bunch of one minutes with 15 second intervals, then some two minutes, and then managed out some threes. Happy about that! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

Drop granddaughter #1 at airport to fly back to ๐ŸŽ the Big Apple. Then pick up our packets for run/walk benefit for SARS - Search And Rescue Society in the mountains above our village in the valley. Arrive, settled in, time to breathe. Couple of 2โ€™s to get going, then gutted out a 3. I thought, ok, bring it on home ๐Ÿ  to 4/land. No way !! Three tries and all under 3:05! Wazzup?? Then I started thinking: Our home in Clovis, down in the valley is at an altitude of 360 feet. And Shaver lake, and the house we are staying at come in at over 5700 feet. Thatโ€™s over a mile higher and much thinner air! So I realized that a5 was impossible at this point and was just satisfied that I came in with three 3โ€™s! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ”ฅ

Great restful Sunday, wonderful church meeting in the morning in our home, light lunch, relaxingโ€ฆgood time to do some breath work. Took lots of deep inhales, couple minutes worth, then dove in. Came out with a 3:04. Good start. Really focused on total mental and physical calmness/emptiness, andโ€ฆ came in with a 4! Yahoo! Well, letโ€™s see if we can clear the bar againโ€ฆ did! 4:20 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป So I started thinking, maybe, just maybe I can join Dan in the land of 5 ๐Ÿค”. I was ready to be done but the thought was intriguing. So I gave it a go. S soon as I was in to it a minute or so I could tell it wasnโ€™t going to happen. I didnโ€™t take enough time to recover and relax from the first three. So, whatever, I just tapped out in the 3โ€™s somewhere. Good for today. I see we change times according to the Dutch clock so my Sunday afternoon is after midnight in Holland so I get to be the first reporter. Itโ€™s a small world ๐ŸŒŽ Have a blessed breath week everyone! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

Well, granddaughter gone ๐Ÿฅฒ, next one arrives in 10 days ๐Ÿ˜€. So, no excuses for the next ten days ๐Ÿ™„. Did breath holds yesterday, 2-2โ€™s and a low 3. Wasnโ€™t really fully relaxed. Today I had more free time so started out with a 2 - the first one is always really low - the a couple of threes and then .. two 4โ€™s ! It was tough but I made it over the line. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป the more time I do it on any given day the higher I can go. Why is that? Am I building up a bit of reservoir by all the deep breathing Iโ€™m doing? Anyway, that is a good thing! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
