Misunderstanding Remembering
The brain has a fairly definitive desktop. There’s only room in what we neuropsychology folks call “working memory” for about 5-8 bits of information. This has deep ramifications for what’s IN your mind versus what’s ON your mind. Here are some key considerations: 1) Just because you’re not conscious of your thoughts does not mean those thoughts are not affecting you. 2) You’ll most often notice an emotion but be unaware of your thought process responsible for the emotion. 3) You’ll often connect your own behavior with another person’s in a causal relationship, believing their behavior CAUSED your behavior when, in reality, your own thought processes ALWAYS cause your own behavior. 4) Just because you’re not thinking of something (or, someone) doesn’t mean you’ve forgotten it (or, them) ☝️ Reminder: Do someone a favor and share our Mindset Masterclass in your socials and invite others to join our journey into the mysteries of the mind 🧠 Join me in 2hours for Midday☀️Mindset as we dig deeper into this topic at 12pm CST Here’s the link 🔗 https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1gqxvreZEEnxB

The thought process can go many different ways good or bad. Interesting thing we can store childhood memories and not remember something that happened last year. It’s like a computer glitch in our hard drive that we gotta search deep and hard for at times.Severe stress, depression, too little or too much sleep, plays a part of this also. I feel sometimes forgetting things may be good for our emotional state that could hold a lot of weight and anger.

@Dr. Heath I think it’s because the effect comes after the cause the cause is the reason something happens and the effect is what happened as a result. The result is what I think most of us linger on and how it left us feeling
Mirror, Mirror on the wall . . .
Who is the most narcissistic of them all? Labeling others? One of the most narcissistic traits is labeling others as narcissistic. Beware the mirror’s truth: Those quick to judge may harbor the deepest self-obsession. Pointing fingers risks revealing your own reflection. #overdiagnosis #labeling #judging #amateurdiagnosis (116 characters)

We all have pointed a finger and also have dealt with being labeled rather if it was positive or negative. I’ve been good with blaming myself for things even when I’m not at fault. We all must learn how to take accountability for ourselves
Let’s celebrate the pets (past and present) that have helped us keep a healthy mindset 😍🐾
This is Kiki—short for kitty kitty 😂 She came to us starving and injured. We helped her recover and she became our best friend. This is her living her best life—she joined us for vision therapy and is wearing pinhole glasses 😎 She changed our family forever ❤️ Anyone else? I’d love to hear stories and/or see photos 😊

@Liliana G yea it would be hard to take any animal to a shelter and they talking about putting them down. My god sister had a pit yhe the original owner was beating him so he would have seizures from time to time. But I’d go over and help her with him and he was such a lovable dog. Just hate to see animals get abused. I wish they would pass a law that would send people like that straight to jail and let them do some real time. Every neighbor I’ve had I get a bond with their animals so when I pull up they come running over as if I was their owner 😂. But I will feed them and take time to show them affection. Even though my dog gets in her feelings when she sees it. She just doesn’t understand other animals don’t get the love she receives

@Kim Brough oh I will. Been loving animals my entire life. Me and my sister use to sneak strays in the house because our mother didn’t like animals. We stayed in trouble lol
Debating Your Despairing Mind
Despair is common to all humans but most do not understand its mechanics. Despair is a conclusion which you may not realize you’ve chosen. It is believing you KNOW, with great certainty, what happens NEXT or what happens FINALLY. None but God can truly see the future. DespaIr is the combination of fortune telling and catastrophizing about what you THINK will or will not happen. Challenge your negativity bias about the future and you’re well on your way to tackling the cognitive construct of despair; and it is a cognition NOT an emotion. What erroneous conclusions do you need to tackle today? ☝️ Catch today’s Midday☀️Mindset discussion all about Awkward to Authentic: Art of Thriving Socially in an Age of Disconnect. I don’t think is necessary a bad thing to experienced moments of despair. Without a bad moment would we know what a good one was without feeling sad could we define happiness. I’m a believer of God but have also questioned my faith at times but through, prayer, I’ve been blessed to regain my faith. I think most will experience it if they have dealt with losing a parent a child a loved one. You’ll see yourself asking God why. Even Jesus did say, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Just saying when we have a lot of weight put on are heart we’ll genuine cry of anguish

"A mind is a terrible thing to waste" is a famous slogan created by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) in 1972. It emphasizes the importance of education and developing one's intellectual potential, particularly for those who might otherwise be denied opportunities. The slogan highlights the value of education and the potential that is lost when individuals are not given the chance to learn and grow

@Liliana G that’s so true that’s why I try to live my life like a sponge and soak up any knowledge I can receive.
