Lightening the load..
I read online the other day that women suffer more mentally with clutter around the house than men do. My husband is always saying how I throw everything out. I don’t think I do, but I usually have this “rule” that if you don’t use something within a year, you most likely don’t need it. Anyway, the last two years, I’ve felt very overwhelmed with the amount of “stuff” we have. I’m part of the problem too. I probably contribute a lot to it. But, lately everywhere I look, there is something. Knickknacks, plants, collectables, kids stuff, stones, movies, just so much! I’ve done a decent job at thinning out my plants since Christmas. And I’ve done good with not replacing them with other plants. But the other day, I read this declutter prompt, and it said: “If you can part with 5 things everyday for 1 month. You’ll notice a significant difference at the months end.” So needless to say, after all my rambling I started this today. I picked a section in my bedroom and parted with 10 items. Tomorrow, I will do the same and try to keep it going for the month. Maybe I can manage to sneak out some of my kids “stuff” without them even noticing. Hah! 😅 Maybe someone else could benefit with a little spring cleaning prompt. 5 things everyday/31 days!

Reducing clutter did wonders for my mental health! Getting the rest of the family on board is challenging.

Let’s slow this down and bring it back to the basics today. Take one slow breath in… and let it out gently. Now scan your body from head to toe. Where do you feel tension, heaviness, tightness, or discomfort right now? Your jaw… your chest… your shoulders… your stomach… your throat? That sensation is often where an emotion is living. Now softly ask yourself: What might this part of my body be trying to tell me? What does it need from me today? You don’t have to fix it. Just notice it. Allow yourself to feel it. Awareness is the first step of healing and your soul knows the way when we listen to what it’s telling us 💛 If you feel safe, share what you noticed within yourself below 🫶

Neck and shoulder pain. I think I need to unwind in the hot tub and rest.
Happy Monday! Alchemy Support Hour— 1/19/26 — 5:20-6:20p est
How’s everyone feeling today? I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling extremely fatigued over the last few days. A few of my friends said they’d been experiencing exhaustion too. If you are feeling overly tired right now, you aren’t alone. Days like these can feel like they take forever to get through. I also want you to know that everything is temporary and tired days won’t last forever. For now, I’ve been trying to take little micro rests when I’m beginning to feel drained. Even if just for two minutes, my rest is pausing to look at the birds jumping from branch to branch in the trees and noticing the fluffy clouds float by my window. When my awareness comes back to the present moment, I take a deep cleansing breath, feeling slightly more refreshed. What’s something you’re doing that’s working for you? I’d love to hear about it! Also, I wanted to mention, Please feel free to make posts in the group too. Tell us great things that are happening in your life and share your struggles, this is a safe space where we can all support each other to not feel so alone in life. I surely am grateful you’re here 🫶 I’ll be in the office til around 6:20p, so please reach out if you need some support.

📌📚✨ Lesson #6 is live: Giving Gratitude ✨
Most people think gratitude is about “being positive.” But what if it’s actually about learning how to come back to yourself when life feels heavy? This week inside the Emotional Alchemy Classroom, we’re exploring how gratitude can shift big emotions, calm the nervous system, and help you find steadiness even in messy seasons. Not through forcing happiness… but through grounding, breath, awareness, and real-life practice. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected lately — this one might land softly where you need it most. 🌿 Emotional Alchemy members can jump into the full lesson and SoulWork now. For everyone else… I’d love to know: What is one small thing you can give gratitude to today?

Me and David have been sharing 3 things we are grateful for every day and it really does change the way you look at life. Even on the hard days it challenges me to look for the good moments throughout the day.
