🕯️ January & the Forgotten Fire (ADHD Edition)
Folklore says January was never meant to be a fresh start. It was a fire-tending month. You fed the fire. You didn’t sprint away from it with a vision board, a dopamine-hungry to-do list, and three new habits by Monday. Yet here we are…Trying to run summer hormones on a winter battery — with an ADHD nervous system that already burns fuel faster than average. 🔋❄️ 🔥 Hormonal riddle for ADHD brains: Where are you secretly forcing energy instead of guarding it like a precious ember? - Stealing sleep because “this is the only quiet time”? - Forcing productivity while your brain quietly files a burnout appeal? - “Eating clean” while dopamine and hormones whisper feed me? - Holding emotional space for everyone else because dropping the ball feels worse than exhaustion? 👀 CTA (ADHD-safe, no essays): Drop ONE word in the comments — the place your body is asking for less pressure this January. (If your brain says “all of them”, pick the one that made you laugh-cry 😅)

Welcome back silly bean
This space has grown quiet and I know thats heavily in part to the holidays but I also know that our goblin brains live for excitement and sometimes dont know what to say or share if other are quiet too. 🫶 Below is a space to acknowledge something small but exciting to you.✨️ A reflection.🪞 A realization.🤯 A moment where you paused instead of pushing through overwhelm🌿 A breath you didn’t rush.💖 A choice to move forwrad with a task even when it felt boring.🧠 Nothing here needs to be big, impressive, or even complete. 🌠If it feels right, you’re welcome to share whatever comes to mind 🌬

Love this @Alison St. Romain Think that it should be taught in school!
Hey y’all I’m Katy ✨
I’m a writer and a visual artist based in Austin, TX and got connected thru an in person group :) I think I’m only lightly ADHD, it comes out the most when I’m stressed. I’ve mostly set up my life to work with how my brain works, so normally nothing feels “disordered” (misnomer I think). My main business has been branding and copywriting (8 yrs!) and I found I was able to help neurodivergent founders a lot. Bc of the way the market is changing, I let go of the model I’ve had for 8 years and spent time researching what to build next that would be super exciting to me. Right now I’m finishing up the course in my Skool group on helping founders express their whole selves as experts that ai can’t replace. Would like to turn it into a mastermind and host events too. I’d say my biggest challenge has been moving through the emotions of a career change and honestly US politics rn without crashing out my productivity/drive. Support from friends has been a lifesaver :) Hugs and great to meet y'all! ☺️

Welcome @Katy Ward So jealous that you are in Austin. I visited a friend last year, but didn't know about Skool back then!
Ever Wonder why?......
Some days people don’t just distract you — they derail your entire nervous system? You think it’s them. Plot twist: It’s often hormones, ADHD overload, or the moon spinning too close to your last nerve. True story: we’ve just moved house. I asked my husband to unload the dishwasher. He did. Gold star ⭐ But… everything stayed on the counter. When I asked why, he said with all sincerity: “I didn’t know where things went.” Now, as a hormonally-aware, ADHD-brained entrepreneur, this is where my brain goes from productive CEO to kitchen meltdown in 3 seconds flat. However, instead of losing it, I breathed and offered a free kitchen tour: Cups up top. Cutlery drawer one. Plates drawer two. Pots drawer three. Dishwasher products under the sink!-oh, and I threw in a dishwasher demonstration! Here’s the truth: When your hormones are shifting and your ADHD brain is already juggling 27 tabs, logic from other humans can feel personally offensive. Bush Flower Elixirs can be super helpful ✨ Emergency – stops the emotional explosion ✨ Calm & Clear – clears mental clutter so you don’t snap ✨ Women’s Essence – steadies hormones and emotional reactivity Works for kids, pets… and absolutely for husbands. 👉 Entrepreneur rule: Breathe, remedy first, conversation later. Please tell me — what’s the most illogical thing your other half has done lately? 😄

This single ADHD mom CRUSHED it.
I had to give a shout out to one of our newest Accelerator members, @Amber Kay. Amber is a single mom of three kids. She's been surviving on a low-wage dog training job at a soulless company for the last few years, and something AMAZING happened to her last month: She quit her job and went full-time on her own dog training business. The best part? In her FIRST MONTH on her own as a business owner, she made $1,600 more than she would have working full-time at her job. Without working any harder... While working from home. Probably in her PJs most of the time. (Just a guess 😉) Very few people have inspired me as much as Amber has. She works harder than almost anyone I know, raising three kids on her own while working full-time and planning an exit to run her own company. Most businesses take 2-5 years to start profiting. Amber did it on MONTH ONE. If she can do it, so can you. Thanks for inspiring us, Amber 🙏 Wanna learn about how the Accelerator helped Amber hit this huge success? Drop a comment and like on this post! If we hit at least 50 comments, I'll see if I can convince Amber to do an interview with me on how she pulled off this incredible feat!
