Doing Less, Choosing More
Power doesn’t mean doing everything. It means choosing what’s worth your energy. The nervous system is regulated when you don’t rush to fix, control, or prove. You act from clarity, not urgency. Try this: Today, choose one thing you will not force. SHARE it below and we can all cheer each other on!

Softening Without Collapse 💕
The heart isn’t about giving more love. It’s about letting the body love without resistance. Soft, not collapsed. Open, not exposed. Tenderness without losing yourself. ✨ Inquiry What does your chest do when you stop trying to be “good?” Does it open? Does it tighten? Does it drop? Notice without judgment.

This came at a time when I consciously decided I didn't have to be good ….i did justify it slightly by saying well it’s because so and so is here….but when I investigated dropping the good , it felt lighter , like I had nothing to prove or explain or discuss about it ….and no one cared ….or more probably even knew
🌙 The Paradox of Rest... and Awakening
New piece on Yoga Nidra that's close to my heart... exploring how the deepest transformation from surrendering. READ ARTICLE Weaved in the article is ancient philosophy, my own healing journey through a rare leukemia, and the radical act of rest in our achievement-obsessed culture. I dive into how Yoga Nidra sits at the intersection of Shiva (pure awareness) and Shakti (creative force), and why lying down might be one of the most powerful practices we have. The piece explores: - The myth of Vishnu resting on the cosmic ocean while worlds are born - The Five koshas (Layers of Being) we move through in stillness - How my relationship with Yoga Nidra shifted from fascination to medicine - Why rest reveals both light and shadow... and why we need both One line that kept coming back to me: "To rest in the deepest 'Self', one must first seek. Yet to seek too hard is to miss the rest." I'm curious... SHARE BELOW What resonated with you the most in the article!? Would love to hear your insights. 💫

Probably the same line that resonated with you Ayla ……To rest in the deepest 'Self', one must first seek. Yet to seek too hard is to miss the rest."…..it’s so hard to uncover the level of programming to strive that that “natural” way of being supersedes everything else and so seeking we do use the same manner of striving in order to understand the self…..

✨ I AM WORTHY OF REST is now live for VIP✨ ...Wait what!?
Thank you for being here in the Nova Nidra community. Every single message you send, every session you listen to, every moment you carve out for rest has shaped what this space has become. I’m truly grateful. For three years, I’ve shared Yoga Nidra on YouTube, Spotify, Apple, and now here. More than 30,000 people have practiced with me on YouTube, DOUBLE that on the podcast, and almost 800 of you have gathered in this community. That is wild. To keep creating from a place of presence instead of burnout, I’ve opened the option for you to support this community in a way that also feeds your own rest practice. To learn more... Watch the video and SHARE a GIF or your favourite emoji BELOW with your excitement about this new chapter and support!
