Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Who has made the jump to premium?
Hello Gents (and I believe a couple of Ladies as well). I am just wondering who has made the jump to premium and if you haven't, do you plan to? Are you on the fence?

I probably won't, but I should. I owe Antonio for all the help he's given me all these years. Dude even helped give me tips to find an overcoat in Florida for a last-minute gig in Beijing over Christmas back in 2013! But, with the nature of what I do, I can't spend money on this kind of stuff, especially not knowing how steady work will be (though this is the busiest I've been since before COVID). I'm really careful with spending my money and also trying to not need to be overly frugal. Bills pile up, and my car is long overdue for some much-needed maintenance as it hits the 200k mark. That being said, I think the group is worth it. I get a lot of information from Antonio's YouTube channel--and he's extremely consistent. I bet he's covered everything there just as much as here. It's fun finding a group to talk to, but it's also more fun spending my extra cash on dates! I'll stick around until it goes premium, then I'll take a step back.
OOTD: Another all-black look
When your job regularly requires you to wear all black, you get creative. Stay in the box while standing out is tricky. String quartet gig tonight in South Florida for some corporate cocktail hour. Suit: Indochino 3-piece suit Shirt: Banana Republic Poplin Tie: I don't know, some faux silk black tie I've had for decades Shoes: Allen Edmonds Park Avenue Watch: Citizen Scent: Tom Ford Oud Minerale Underwear: Spider-man briefs (kidding!) What I love about the vest is that I can tie a full Windsor with a regular length tie (6'4", can't do it with standard lengths).

@Anthony Buntyn Thanks! It's hard to juggle this and not look like a waiter!

@Patricio Gallo Thanks. Since this was specifically *not* a Christmas gig, I chose red. I have a pocket square with a holly print that I've been wearing for Christmas engagements.
You Don’t Deserve Anything
You don’t “deserve” crap. That word has destroyed more lives than any other. “I deserve a raise.” “I deserve great relationships.” “I deserve recognition.” The hell you do. The only thing you deserve is the life that your habits, actions, and standards have produced for you. Nothing more. "I deserve" is the most entitled crybaby phrase that exists. It's your version of seeking a reward by bypassing the work required. That reward will never come until the work does. If you want different... Become different. A great life is earned. Never deserved. ~ Andy Frisella

We've all had points in our lives where we were severely disappointed. - "All that work didn't pan out." - "That incompetent person was hired for the position I wanted." - "She said no, after all this time." I never thought it's something I should be able to demand, but even if you lined up all your ducks and knocked the situation out of the park, sometimes luck just gets in the way. You keep truckin' on and stay patient. That's how I feel. I had an ex who thought she "deserved" a 6-figure income, so she cut some seriously questionable moral and legal corners to get her "deserved" income. When she was inevitably fired, it was now my duty to magically change careers for a 6-figure income. That kind of mentality isn't something I could ever deal with.

Great look! The shoes are definitely AE Park Avenues. Take a look at The Elegant Oxford on YouTube, he can show you how to get a mirror shine on these bad boys. Their brown color looks incredible with a mirror shine!
