Rest between warm up sets and true sets
Markus, Question for you. I asked this on YouTube. When it comes to resting between the warm up set and true set, I'm thinking no set time, go when you feel ready to give 100 percent? I used to always be hyper focused on keeping rest between sets at set times. Now I feel freed up not worrying about it. What does Brother Markus think?

When legs workout comes in, I do need at least 2 minutes after squats.
Quick one for you guys…my Drawing
I actually drew this myself. And yeah, it ties right into how I approach training… and life. I’ve always been wired to think outside the box. Not follow the crowd. Not just accept what everyone else is doing because it’s “normal.” I’d rather use reason and logic and figure out what actually works. Same thing here. Truth is… I used to be heavy into drawing years ago, then I stopped. And just like training, when you step away from something, you come back a little rusty. No way around it. You suck a bit at first. But you shake it off. You get back to it. You rebuild. That’s exactly where I’m at right now. Back in the game with drawing, same as training… just focused on getting the absolute most out of whatever natural ability I’ve got. And here’s the interesting part… I didn’t even know I could draw until a few years ago. No joke. It was one of those things that just kind of showed up once I actually tried. Like someone realizing they can sing out of nowhere. Point is — most people never even test themselves. They stay in that box. Same routines, same habits, same thinking. There’s more there. Way more. You just have to be willing to step outside the box and find it. Same applies to your training. Same applies to everything.

Heavy Duty Power Cakes
This is my current pre workout setup. Simple. Effective. No nonsense. Fage yogurt, either 0% or 2%.I usually go with the 2% because it’s a little creamier and just tastes better. The 5% is too high in fat and calories for me most of the time when I’m keeping things tight. Now… if I’m running carbs really low and going more aggressive, that’s when I’ll push fats up a bit. In that case, 2% or even 5% can work. So it always depends on what you’re doing. Low carbs, you can bring fats up Higher carbs, keep fats lower Right now I’m keeping calories low overall, so 2% is the sweet spot for me. Two or 3 rice cakes, a few Strawberries on top . About 45 minutes before training Gives me enough fuel, keeps blood glucose stable, and I don’t feel flat going into the workout. And yeah… it actually tastes damn good. This is what I call Heavy Duty Power Cakes. Also quick heads up… I’ll be uploading the full Carb300 program into the Premium section in the next few hours. If you’re already in there, you’ll see it soon. If not… you might want to be. Try this out and let me know how it works for you. Markus

@Markus Reinhardt No pics yet but between Nov 25 and Feb 26 I did Ribeye or NY steak with Cowboy butter for breakfast. At least 3 times a week (no gym days). Bone broth w/5 eggs at diner also that days.

@Markus Reinhardt That's right. And I saw it later in my body. Now I change for eggs, some bacon, chicken and veggies.
