HIGH INTENSITY LIVE Q & A is happening in 5 days
HIGH INTENSITY LEGACY MOVIE!
Heavy Duty Nation— I put something together that’s different from anything I’ve posted before. This is a legacy piece. Cinematic. Philosophical. Pure HIT. Took me about 7 hours to build and edit this one. Watch it all the way through—this isn’t a clip, it’s a full statement. If it hits, drop a comment on the video and share it. I want to see how this lands with you. MARKUS

HOW OFTEN SHOULD U TRAIN AFTER 40
Just dropped a new video on something that’s holding a lot of people back… Training frequency. Especially after 40 and 50. Most people are doing too much… too often… and wondering why nothing’s changing. I break down exactly how often you should be training—and why less, done right, works better. Do me a favor— Watch the whole thing Drop a comment with your takeaway Hit like And share it if it hits home That’s how we grow this and get the message out. After you watch it— How often are you training right now?
I'm confident my HIT is solid; my recovery is terrible..let me explain
I'm going to be 47 this July and I've been doing HIT for almost a year now. I love it. I've gained quite a bit of muscle , rely on the Stronger 40 routine from Marcus with the right cadence and only workout two days a week. It's pretty perfect for me. The problem is is my recovery. I know we are supposed to get 7-9 hours of rest a night. I never get that, ever. The most I do get is about 6 hours maybe 7 and most of the time it's interupted. The mattress that I have is old now and isn't that firm so my back hurts when I lie on it. Working on getting another one. (I'm 6'2"; 255) This forces me to sleep on the couch which is more firm or the floor/carpet with a rug over it. Ironically, it does feel good and aligns my back since it's more of a flat surface. I have a 5 year old son and often times he will wake up in the middle of the night scared or sometimes he has an "accident" which need some attention which interrupts my sleep. Sometimes it takes some time to fall back asleep which sucks. Most of the time my wife does helps but from time to time I do it. I also have my Mom in a long term care facility and it seems I'm constantly dealing with an issue regarding her care, pricing or whatever problem pops up; like a fuc**ing wack a mole. Between, my bed situation, my kid waking me up and dealing with issues with my Mom's facility, this gets my mind racing when I think about it therefore it's difficult to fall asleep; not to mention stay asleep. Often I will take over the counter sleeping pills and sometimes that helps. For example: Last night I couldn't get to sleep; I think I got a 2-3 hours and got up and 5:00AM..so at 6:00AM I went to the gym and did my lower body HIT routine. I took a pre-workout to get me going and it was a decent workout. Came home and fell asleep for about an hour. Anyways I am thinking about getting a stronger sleeping medicine from a doctor instead of an over the counter one and see how that goes or maybe I should look into some sleepy gummies; lol; I don't know.
