VectorShift.ai Overview - what AI automation looks like
Video summarized with Supergrow: --- As the co-founder, Alex, explains in their recent YouTube video, VectorShift is an end-to-end AI automations platform that is revolutionising the way businesses operate. What's caught my attention is how VectorShift allows you to connect all your data sources, build custom AI workflows and run these across various applications. Imagine having an automated pipeline that responds to email support messages using your team's internal documentation as context. That's the power of VectorShift! I'm particularly impressed with the idea of 'VectorStore', which lets you automatically store data from an integration into a pre-processed storage database. This database can seamlessly sync with any changes made to your documentation, ensuring the pipeline is always up-to-date. But it doesn't stop there. With VectorShift, you can quickly build, test, and deploy AI applications straight to production, even embedding them on your website as a chatbot. Now that's a power-packed feature! By making AI and automation accessible and manageable, VectorShift empowers businesses to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and save valuable time. I truly believe this is the future of technology in business. 👉 Has anyone else tried using VectorShift? I'd love to hear your experiences. Here's the video if you'd like to learn more: YouTube video link

No, not heard of it. But very interesting. But, curious as to the security/compliance. I like the whole zero retnetion agreements, etc. but definitely curious if they are SOC2 compliant (or if it is in the works). Definitely very interested in learning more.
What would you do differently?
For those who either founded their RIA or were one of the earliest employees, looking back, what do you wish you would have done differently (operationally) in the early days? I just joined an awesome new firm that is only about a year old so there is a lot of opportunity to build a strong operational foundation to avoid issues down the road. I've got my own ideas about what to work on, but I'd love to hear your best advice as well! Thanks!

So much of what was said above. Love @Jessica Jones's reply. Change management is real, and hard, so be sure to get as much buy in and pair the champions to the naysayers and saboteurs. Also, the greatest asset of a professional service company is its Human Capital, and all of the individual knowledge and experience of the team. Building a knowledge base and documenting and standardizing SOPs will help tremendously. Then, when someone leaves your firm, all of that knowledge base on your company's procedures didn't leave with them. I have found when doing an overall system analysis is to first map out in flow charts the chain of events. When doing this, it becomes glaringly obvious what areas need to get prioritized first, and what types of processes need updating , from both an internal control standpoint as well as an efficiency and effectiveness standpoint. Because nowadays, nobody likes to read a whole big list of instructions, when building a knowledge base, we usually provide both videos for those learning first time, and a document utilizing SOC2 compliant tools that screen capture clicks, etc. This provides a quick lookup for anyone trying to remember how to do something in the middle of a process without having to sit through an entire video of how to do something, along with explanations of maybe why it is done a certain way. Having both of those links to the knowledgebase available in the task management system is helpful. Doesn't make the task management too cumbersome while providing a quick link for anyone needing additional support. Sorry so long. This sort of thing is kind of one of my soap boxes! :)
GIPS Verification Testimonials?
Hi folks - looking for another firm that has gone the route of getting GIPS verified. We've spoken to some verifiers but would like to have a chat about it with another firm who has gone through the process. Thanks for any leads/advice.
GIPS Verification Testimonials?

Hi @T.J. Wolfgram . - I have worked with a firm that went through GIPs verification and has been GIPS certified for over 5 years now. I work in the finance department and strategic planning, but am happy to talk to you about what I've observed and possibly supply names of some companies to look into. I ran some cost analysis and rolling 18 month cash flow planning. The company I worked with got their GIPS verification because they work with large institutional type of clients (govenment pension plans, etc.) whereas it was extremely helpful for them, but not necessarily for someone who is not going after that type of market. Happy to talk more, [email protected] .
