Gents, let’s talk about Bvlgari Tygar.. YSL Tuxedo.. Chanel Coromandel.. etc.. This year (2025), the gap between a "standard" designer scent and their "Private Line" has never been wider.. at least when it comes to the price tag. the Armani Prives, the Dior Collection Privees, and the Chanel Exclusifs. They promise us rare ingredients, master-level artistry, and a level of exclusivity that sets us apart from the "mall-scent" crowd. But as prices climb toward the $400 mark, we have to ask ourselves: Are we paying for superior juice, or are we just overcharged and is plainly a marketing trap? Another question is.. Is it better to go with Private Label or Niche? Is there a Private Line bottle in your collection that is actually worth the premium?

Gentlemen, I just received my first bottle of Outlands. Let me say, you can smell the quality and it is now my absolute number one out of over a hundred fragraces.

The holiday party was a huge success, great turn out. Of course I was the fashionably late one but you know what the say, last one is the best one and that night I felt I was the best, everyone said the outfit was amazing, looked my best, the weight loss definitely helped out a lot. And let me say all the women kept saying I was the greatest smelling man of the party, one quote was "Xavier, you can't smell this good cause imma take you home right now if you do" well that was the highlight of the night hahahahaha. This was def the holiday I really enjoyed. The scent of the night was Alghabra- Eyes of the Seven Hills. Classy, initmate, sophisticated gentlemen scent.

Floris Leather Oud. This is a new one for me. It lacks a little bit of longevity but it’s very nice at the start and the dry down is smooth and wonderful. But after about 3 hours I have to chase it to see if it’s still there. I’ll have to try on the clothing to see if that helps any. Have a great evening everyone.

Armaf Club de Nuit - Precieux Here is one that is find pairs Fruity, Citrus, & Sweet quite well and qpuld be great for most occasions! Opening up with a potent & robust fruity sweet citrus, and a touch of pepper & florals As it drys we get some more of our woods, moss, musk & leather giving it a touch of ruggedness under the fruity aroma Although it comes in a small bottle the unboxing experience alone makes it worthwhile in my opinion. As not many houses have done many of these types of presentations with unboxing a fragrance which I think is a really nice touch for something that we will have and see for months.
