Tough keeping a rhythm while traveling
Started this program before a few long trips for work and fun. In Europe now and tough keeping to a consistent workout while hoping around a lot and staying with family. Just focusing on eating meat as much as possible. Drinking water (in Europe they don't have free tap water. :*[. ) Decided to at least sit and stretch a tiny bit to regulate. Will come back and do sets of stretching and workouts between meeting.

Stretching is my go-to when I'm not motivated or don't have the time to workout. You're doing great, Gabe!
Challenge/Volunteer Opportunity
Happy Saturday to all ambitiously average athletes! February 7th 2026, the Sketchers Hot Chocolate run will be in Dallas. Locals we have two opportunities to grow community fitness events: 1. Racers interested in registering for the 5k, 10k, or 15k. Sign up and pound pavement with other runners in the metroplex. Discount codes are available! 2. Volunteers! Camp Gladiator will run water station #1 and we are looking for volunteers to hand water out to all the racers - Cheering them along the way! I'll be there early to help setup. Unfortunately, that means Sunrise Sumo is cancelled that moring. DM if interested in joining the race or the water squad.

First work out traveling
Completed my first work out traveling at a work conference in Nashville. Woke up at 5 am before my flight at 8 am. I knew this was an important milestone for me. Poco a poco.

Cravings hitting hard again?
You keep getting hit with random cravings... especially at night. You think it's a willpower issue, but really you are under-eating the one thing that keeps you full: PROTEIN! When you don't get enough protein, your blood sugar swings, your hunger spikes, and suddenly the cravings starts whispering... "I want sugar!" "Give me snacks!" "Find something Fast!" Cravings aren't trying to trick you. They are just bad communicators. So how do you change your eating strategy to get more of the super special stuff? 1. Front-load it. Start your morning with a solid protein source so you're not playing catch-up later. Hitting protein early keeps your energy stable and reduces cravings throughout the day. 2. Supersize it. Not in the McDonald's way... Order double meat. mix sausage with ground beef recipes, add beans if funds are tight. Small additions stack fast and make hitting daily goals much easier. 3. Snack More. Swap chips, crackers, and sweets for protein-forward snacks like chicken tenders, jerky, or cottage cheese. This helps contain the hunger while moving towards protein targets. These small changes keep you full, give you energy, and KILLS cravings before they even start. Number 3 is my personal favorite because I LOOOOOVE to snack. 😅 What’s one strategy that’s worked for you?

I make a high-protein smoothie in the mornings or lean into trail mix when I wanna snack without the guilt lol

A wise grandmaster one said... Do or do not. There is no try... Most people postpone change... @Teevee Aguirre did the exact opposite. 🏆🔥 ​ ​Consistency is the loudest thing you can bring to this group, and Teevee just set the volume to 100 when he CHOSE to prioritize life. ​Wrapping up the year with nearly 20 sessions since joining alone is a masterclass in discipline. While most people are hitting the "pause" button for the holidays, Teevee decided to finish 2025 stronger than he started. ​This is what it looks like when you stop "trying" to work out and start making it a non-negotiable part of your life. No matter the weather or the seasonal chaos, he showed up and made a change. #communityfitness #MVP2025 #showup #showout
