Webinar Wizards in the Wild 🧙‍♂️
Big congrats to @Calvin Harvey II and @Bernie White for absolutely crushing their webinars yesterday. Calvin’s out here running his own and showing what members can do when they go all-in. Bernie’s continuing to do massive paydays for Assistable like he did with Lead Indicator. Would love to see a “behind the curtain” masterclass from either (or both) of them, but no pressure if you want to keep the sauce secret a little longer. Just know… the people are watching. 👀And we want your playbook. 🔥💻🔥 Also, if creating webinar signup pages, and nuture is holding you back...I created an event system you can launch webinar pages in less than a minute with everything you could imagine. I'll get a link and demo soon.

Open API key and rebiling
@Jorden Williams I'm still not really clear on how this works. Do I need to create an Open API account and add money to that wallet? I noticed that when I did not do that, the bot failed (this was all on my own website). I saw the rebilling video, but the part that's still confusing. Does Assistable track the chat time and rebills the client; which shows up as a credit in my Stripe account and from there I would pay my Open API account? Or do I need to ask the customer to create their own Open API account and top it off when balance goes low?

@Steven Logreira Steven this is how I understand it. API Key... No you do not need to create your own Open AI API key if you do not want to. Currently there is only 1 Global API Key, so at Agency level. Not sub-accounts. Advantages of using Assistable API and paying them - Works out of the box - Do not run into possible volume isues where your API key would error out because your account has not met volume threashholds set by Opem AI Note: Even if you use your own API key, Jordan mentioned it will fall back onto the Assistable API if it fails (great backup) and you will get charged for use in those cases even when your own API key is used. Disadvantges of Using Assistable API - Most people report the cost will be slightly higher than using your own API Billing... 1) Your Agency has a wallet that funds all Sub-accounts and their agents. 2) You must set up Stripe connection with your Agency for rebilling 3) Your clients/sub-accounts need to fund their own account's wallet (assuming your Agency is not paying for all tolls - at a fixed price) 4) You set desired pricing/upcharges from what you pay Assistable for client sub-accounts (this can be on a per-sub-account basis I belive) 5) When your client wallet falls below a set amount, it auto-adds to their wallet. Your Agency gets the funds in your connected Stripe account when Sub-accounts fund their wallets. 6) Reporting on costs for sub-accounts are available and being added to for reporting etc. Hope that helps clarify a few things.
A-Z Rebilling Guide (With Flowchart and Real Charges)
We get asked a ton about rebilling -- and while we work on functionality and UX UI to always make this easier, I thought I would make a simple vid (its 10 minutes you can 2x if you like) that shows a miro flow chart on the logic, the rebilling set up and configuration, using folders to bucket clients by type, and the tangible charges at the sub-account and workspace level to better understand it. let me know if you have any questions, drop them below and ill get you an answer :) Loom & Miro board attached

@Jorden Williams Helpful thank you. Question does the $0.02 per message apply to both voice and chat or only chat if using Assistable API? Was happy to learn about the fall back to Assistable if our API fails.
Testing Cost?
Hey team, does it cost 7c/minute while we're testing our agents?

@Luis Garibay does a $.02/sms get charged by Assistable even when using your own Open AI key?

Got it thanks Luis
Base Minutes + Overage
Is there a way to set an amount of minutes per month included in the clients plan and then charge X per minute over that amount?

That is a great topic for the ideas board. Definately a stong use case for plan/offer creation.
