DAY 1 | *NEW* Yoga Nidra for Restoring Trust
Rebuilding trust begins with showing up for yourself... often. PLAY Nova Nidra This February, I’ll be sharing a Yoga Nidra every day. A simple invitation to pause, listen, and reconnect with your body’s wisdom. Daily rest can become a new habit. One that teaches your nervous system it’s safe to slow down and reminds you that you keep your word to yourself. You don’t have to do it perfectly; you just have to come back. Let this be a month of rebuilding trust. One rest at a time. SHARE Your new habit for February below! Join VIP for Exclusive Nova Nidra Recordings Every Month

My new daily habit is to read one meditation from Deng Ming-Dao “365 Tao Daily Meditations”before I start my day, which is usually very early.
New Recording Inquiry 🤩
Let's see! I am feeling called to tap into the collective for the next VIP Recording! I would love to record something special for you tomorrow. Part of my process is burning sage to clear the space, followed by palo santo to set intention before each recording session. I would love to know which season you're in and what you are exploring internally... SHARE BELOW What would support you this month? AND what length of Nidra would you enjoy to rest with the most!?

Energy cleansing and protection from unwanted energy
something new can take root 🍂
The trees are teaching us again. To make space for what is coming, they let go of what needs to be returned. Leaves fall not as loss, but as preparation. A clearing. A trust in the cycle of renewal. ✨ What’s one thing you’re ready to shed this season, so something new can take root?

I am letting go of perfectionism so that I can make more room for ease and joy. I am letting go of “strictly doing” and inviting more “being” into my “doing”.
The Restorative Power of Gratitude
As the week comes to a close, it’s easy to remember the things we didn’t finish, the moments that felt heavy or the places we wish we had shown up differently. But gratitude has a way of softening those edges. It doesn’t erase what was difficult, but it shifts the way we hold it. In Yoga Nidra, even a simple reflection on one thing we’re grateful for can calm the nervous system and invite a state of rest. Gratitude opens the door to presence. Take a moment to pause. Breathe. And let one memory, one small thing you’re thankful for this week, rise to the surface. What is it for you? SHARE it below. Your gratitude might spark someone else’s. Remember to SIGN UP to the Virtual Gratitude Experience! ✧ Sept 21, 2025 | 10AM PT | Virtual ✧ 90 min online gathering ✧ Invite only (You have to Sign Up!) ✧ meaningful connection, reflection, and, of course, gratitude. ✧ mission: leaving people better than we find them.

@Diana Patel I have an elderly mom who is not in a good health and is pretty needy. But I’m so grateful she is around and enjoy time we spend together, although it’s not always easy. We are blessed to have our moms here with us!
Circle of Practice
When we rest together, something changes. Our nervous systems mirror one another. We begin to feel supported, even in silence. Will you make time this weekend to rest? Drop a 🌙 in the comments if you’re prioritizing rest!

Busy weekend with a houseguest, lots of tennis, Hollywood bowl closing show, trying out new restaurants. Slow walk on the beach and some yoga Nidra for a true rest.

This is Maria Himelman. I first learned about Yoga Nidra from Dr. Huberman's podcast. Ayla Nova, by far, is my favorite Nidra teacher.
