The Breath
Today I decided to be more aware of my breath and I noticed it was shallow, I thought if my breath could talk what would it say? The thought that immediately popped in was I'm tired! What would your breath say?

Self Practice 157
Today I focused opening space around patience. Primarily because my dogs decided to be impatient just as I started the daily practice session. However, I realized because of my respiratory my dogs and the annoyance I experienced that this would be a wise move. I focused on ways to be patient with myself around my dogs and others such identifying in my mind “this too shall pass” along with grounding skills and empathy are all ways to be patient.

It's an excellent reminder to self regulate with ourselves even when distractions are there. That gentle pause to reflect can make a huge difference in how we show up with our companion animals.

Today I needed to make space for patience regarding others. With the tragedies we as a country and as human beings that have been experienced and the ugly side of humanity which has played out in many ways I found myself needing to lean on patience.
