I've watched the video a couple of times, and this SO fits in with what I want my focus to be on internally and externally. And coming out of this covid fog, it's been really helpful, because (and I just smiled thinking about the three steps) the smiling and the vocalizing has literally helped me regain energy when I was feeling drained, both yesterday and just this afternoon. I actually smiled while doing some shaking, and proclaimed "I love feeling this good strong energy!" and it definitely lifted my entire being and helped shake off some of the fatigue that lingers. I am working more to incorporate it into the walking - I feel like I somehow disconnect that exact part - I'm thinking the thoughts and even vocalizing, but before I know it, I've walked where I'm going to walk and I realize my mind was all over the place with other things, not that same intention. So that's my goal for the rest of the week - walk the talk literally! I was planning some intentional walks this week, but recurring rains seem to be stalking my intentions. I will also be using these techniques a good bit I know over the weekend. We're at the year anniversary of the hurricane, and whatever I may or may not be feeling is being exacerbated by the constant coverage and resurfacing of images from the aftermath. Lots of breathing, smiling, proclaiming deep gratitude for all the helpers, and walking the walk of someone who has great energy and is moving forward out of disaster (which is actually true - we just executed the letter of intent for our new space and are awaiting the lease!!).

Release Negative Energy: Korean Qigong
Thanks everyone for your feedback. Here was the winning video from the Youtube topics to enjoy! The winning qigong class time was 15 minutes. While this video is 60 min, will also create 5, 10, and 15 minute versions in the coming months . . . Each week I'll be dropping a youtube (under 15 min) in this group (ideally on Wed), so stay tuned! Comment below: Have you watched this video? If so, how did you feel after watching, even if not the whole hour? If not, and you want to, let me know by when you will!

We had to circle the airport for a while to avoid landing in a storm, so while I'm sure I would have benefitted from the video, I just crashed (er...definitely no pun intended) when I finally got home. But I did it this morning and it was so perfect for getting me recentered after a very long week and boomerang travel. I feel refreshed, and the movement really helped shake out the stiffness and tension from travel. I loved ending with the energy ball, and I felt the music added to the energy. I have challenges with hip flexibility, but I am looking forward to making progress over time with things like this.

@Alyne Padilla I felt the same (but loved the clapping part)! 😂
When will You Rest Next? (Mojo Monday Weekly Challenge 5)
I got an email from a community member sharing " Leaders are often asked to stretch, to raise their hand, to do more. We’re rarely asked to do less, say no, or pause. I’m deeply interested in how we navigate that tension between ambition and sustainability." All too often we don't rest. We finish and keep moving to the next thing, afraid to slow down or *gasp* stop. In spirit of going slower to rest and recharge, here's your challenge for week 5. MOJO MONDAY WEEKLY CHALLENGE 5 Block your next period of time off to truly relax and rest. Vacations may or may not count if you don't get real rest. If you accept, comment below "ACCEPT". When done, reply back to your accept comment "DONE" and comment on 2 other people's posts. If you completed Mojo Monday Weekly Challenge 4--let us know here on this post! And comment on at least 2 other people's post! Each Monday, you'll receive a weekly challenge practice to do in the next 48 hours that will help you look and feel 20 years younger. Challenge runs through end of September 2025. 2 more weeks!

@Theresa Song I love how you’re working to apply rest into your daily intentions (good reminder that it doesn’t have to be all or nothing to be beneficial), and am inspired by your morning routine.

@Anna Choi Thanks! I know there were many other trackable moments, so I think making a calendar option would be a good way to keep it more current and complete.
