Someone made a post about me, saying that I was a scam (and that career coaches were too)
My first reaction wasn’t anger. It was curiosity. Because comments like that usually come from somewhere: a bad experience, a misunderstanding of what coaching actually is, or frustration with the industry as a whole. And to be fair, the online world has created a lot of noise. So I understand why some people feel skeptical. But I’ve also seen the other side of this work. Clients landing roles they thought were out of reach. Professionals finally learning how to position themselves. People changing the trajectory of their careers because someone helped them execute. I shared my full thoughts on this in the video attached. I’d actually be curious to hear your perspective after watching it. What do you think separates a great career coach from someone who’s just selling promises?

I'm intrigued and well done on leading with curiosity. I share with potential clients and those who sign up to be partners with PeopleCentral, LLC, I am not selling cars, candy or cookies. There is no tangible product. What I coach on is that mental muscle to build confidence and to leverage one to have the courage to tackle any conversation that comes their way so they are empowered to navigate as they see fit. Those who dive in with me and are all in and get the most out of our partnership.
👀Be Honest: How Often Are You Collecting Testimonials?
Let’s talk social proof. Testimonials = trust builders. They help leads believe you can help them too. But let’s be real... collecting them consistently isn’t always easy. So here’s a quick pulse check: 👇 Vote and drop your best testimonial-gathering tip in the comments if you’ve got one! How often are you actually gathering testimonials?

I make it a point to ask on a scale of one to 10 how they would rank me and our partnership if I get an 8+ to 10 or break in the bracket, I’ll ask for the testimonial. I’ll also ask how they best to wish. Provide the testimony if they prefer social media in writing or video. They choose.

🎯 What New Habit Are You Sticking To This Year?
Happy Friday, everyone! A new year is the perfect time to build habits that elevate our personal growth and professional success. So, I'm curious: 💬 What new habit are you committing to in 2025? To inspire your journey, here are two must-read books that I like to revisit once in a while that have helped me build powerful, lasting habits and achieve my goals: 📘 Atomic Habits by James Clear: This book is a game-changer for breaking bad habits and building good ones! It dives deep into the small changes that lead to big results and makes habit formation feel simple and achievable. 📙 The 12 Week Year by Brian Moran: Setting goals for a whole year can feel overwhelming. It's all about achieving more in 12 weeks than most do in 12 months by focusing on clarity, execution, and accountability. Drop your habit, and if you have other book recommendations in the comments to set this year for success! I'm committed to becoming a gymbro! (Will let you know how that goes 💪)

We are working extra hard to ensure my husband can retire at the end of 2025. Been on a great plan, staying the course and looking to make it happen.
