Any of you have Centenarians your Family History line? Chapter 4 has been really interesting to learn about, given that some people have genetics to live over 100 and most of the population have to adopt behaviors that can enable that type of lifespan. I’ve also found this book to be interesting when it talks about how we can look at lifespan versus health band. I work with so many people that are retired and can’t live the life they want to because their bodies just won’t let them. They’ve not managed health span as effectively. Given that information, there is still so much research that shows things have a remarkable and forgiving reverse effect when nutrition and exercise patterns are employed again in their lives.
Couldn’t believe the burn rate!!!
Quad sets of 20. Full body. Intentional stress. This workout wasn’t about chasing weight—it was about managing fatigue under control. Here’s how the quad set works 👇 Weight I could normally do for ~12 reps → 12 reps → 10-second pause → 5 reps → 10-second pause → Final 3 reps under fatigue That’s 20 reps without changing the load. Three quad sets per movement. Full body. Why I use this strategy 👇 • Massive metabolic demand without junk volume • Teaches breathing and composure under fatigue • Protects joints by keeping mechanics clean • Builds conditioning and resilience fast Mid-workout I crossed 600+ calories burned. So I added Electrolytes + a small glucose source. This isn’t an everyday method. It’s a tool for high-stress weeks, fat-loss phases, and conditioning resets. Train with intention. Fuel when it matters. Adapt under pressure. 💪

For the end of November I bought some battle ropes after watching Physical Asia on Netflix. I thought I was getting stronger but wow battle ropes kick my butt... If I ever do any physical competitions, I think I need to keep on doing battle ropes box jumps training.
