Streetwear Style
Curious to hear everyone's opinion on streetwear style? Graphics, oversized tees and baggy pants? If it's not for you, why and what sort of style do you prefer?

@Chuck Cranford Thanks for this, I quite like this style being a little more of a country person myself.

@Brian McGuire Thanks for this! I have learnt a lot off of this thread and lots more to learn from all the resources sent through so thank you! I've actually experienced being 'judged' for doing something different when I decided to not drink for 12 months. At first it was weird and people were confused. I completed that 12 months and then randomly had a drink somewhere with my friends. That was now weird and people were confused. So I guess it translates back into this. You have to take the leap, be called weird and be 'judged' but if you stick with it, it becomes a normal part of who you are.
Super Hero Sunday — Watch of the Day
Today’s wrist choice is the Citizen Star Wars Darth Vader Eco-Drive (Death Star edition). A Comic-Con exclusive limited to just 250 pieces, it’s one of those watches that makes you smile every time you glance down. The black case, red accents, and the dial showing both Vader and the Death Star give it that unmistakable dark side presence. Always remember, Sunday brings their parade of hope, but hope is a fragile shield. The dark side does not rest on weekends. Even on Super Hero Sunday, the villains find a way to steal the spotlight.

Such a cool watch!
Good morning!
It’s hot and humid today, so I chose shorts. I know I’m new to the group, but don’t see anyone posting dressed in them. Are shorts generally frowned upon? How do you manage southern heat and humidity?

Shorts can generally be frowned upon but I believe style should start with comfort first. Besides, i'd rather be caught in shorts than uncomfortable and sweating through pants. I think the main thing is to keep the outfit colour and formality coordinated. Would love to hear anyone else's opinion on that?
Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

@Dale Rose I'm sure we will Dale! What has been your biggest takeaway from the group so far?
Sling bag thoughts
In my travels this week, I’ve seen more men wearing a sling bag for their belongings. I’m not one to look at that as an option, kinda reminds me of a fanny pick from back in the 80s, but then again a better alternative to wearing cargo shorts and stuffing them full of your belongings, aside from a six pack of beer during a Mardi Gras parade when you’re in your teens, or did I just reveal too much. Just wanted to get y’all’s thoughts on them, I’d be more inclined to just use a small backpack, but that’s just me.

I had my doubts with it but I travelled China for 10 days and wore a cross body bag everywhere I went. Surprisingly holds a lot and goes quite well with more active wear outfit but I wore it with almost everything but a suit. It was an absolute life saver and wouldn't do it without it.
