Are you making time to get in fucking awesome shape?
At 35, I see men struggle to make fitness a part of their lives. We have more responsibilities now and our body is changing. Hormone change is real. But we can fight it and chicks dig a dude with muscles. I’ve been on both sides and know from experience. Start a few days a week, even at home with your bodyweight. Just get started doing something and adjust over time as you build momentum. You can do this šŸ’ŖšŸ»

@Danny Jones gotta find and feed your why. Then when you make it a habit and you like how you feel, you’ll never want to stop.

@Steve Anderson right, but if we have unmet needs, alcohol and food are sometimes a temporary substitute. It just usually does more harm than good and doesn’t fix the problem at its root. That was my experience anyways
Is it cool if I share some fitness advice I wish I knew years ago?
It’s something I wish someone told me when I first started. Here it goes... Perfection is the death of progress. Here’s what I mean, When you first start it’s easy to become paralyzed. It’s called paralysis of over analysis. You do tons of research because you want the best program for best results. I have news for you, theā€bestā€ doesn’t exist. There’s not a ā€œbestā€ supplement or ā€œbestā€ workout program. There’s also not the ā€œbestā€ diet. If you resonate and are still reading then this is what I want you to do. The most powerful tool you can have for making progress is momentum. Take action immediately. If you’ve become paralyzed then I want you to go for a walk today. Start small and improve over time. As you build momentum it will be easier to learn what you need to do. It will be easier to course correct. It will be easier to learn what you need to improve. Don’t fall victim to paralysis of over analysis. This is literally what’s killing your results and quality of life. When I first started out I got started with what I had. It was imperfect and sometimes I felt like what I was doing wasn’t the best, but I kept on. Overtime I met the right people who took my momentum and pressurize it into diamonds. If I didn’t take imperfect action I wouldn’t be where I am today. Today’s takeaway is to bloom where you’re planted and don’t become complacent. Allow yourself to make mistakes (many mistakes) until you grow and evolve. This will help accelerate what you’re already doing and guide you to the right person who can help you. That’s what I did and it worked. I hope this message helps one person today who’s struggling. You can do this.

🚨 The PURGE is coming 😮
Men of Action Forum is called Men of ACTION for a reason. Our rapidly growing community is close to breaking 5,000 members, BUT... Over HALF of the members take ZERO action in this group. The purpose of this forum is to create a collaborative space for driven men to meet, discuss, and take action on High-Status Social Networking taught by Michael Sartain. Starting Monday, August 5th, 2024 Men of Action Forum will begin removing inactive members who do not contribute to the community. Everyone with zero contributions to the forum in the last 30 days will be removed. Those who have contributed value to the group can ignore this message - thank you for being a man of ACTION. For everyone else, you have less than a week to take action and contribute value. To contribute value do three things - create valuable posts that engage other members in the community around MOA related topics, like posts you enjoy, and become a "suggestor - connector - content creator" for the community with your contributions. You got this šŸ’Ŗ
