"When" do you wear your gym scent...
When, specifically, do people wear their gym scent? Is it before you go in, after you shower? When is the scent actually being worn? I'm genuinely curious. Thanks!
Your first house that you began with your fragrance collection
Calvin Klein was my first house that I've started with my fragrance collection. Which house that you started with your fragrance journey?

There's a few "firsts" for me: 1) First bottle I was gifted years ago before I cared, was Burberry Brit. I just wore it whenever, without any thought to season or occasion. 2) My first bottle I purchased under ignorance (I even bought it retail, I still didn't know what I was doing. But I was learning), was Lavin Eclat d'Arpege Pour Homme. 3) My first travel stick gifted to me from a different friend (whom I deem responsible for pushing me down the rabbit hole) was a scent called YSL Myslf edp. 4) The first "bottle" I ever purchased on my own, after smelling a bunch at the mall, with full knowledge of Fragrantica, online retailers/decants . . . was MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver. *Takes a bow*
Luna Rossa Carbon EDT by Prada
Wore this on the weekend and wore it today again, I’ve been enjoying this one lately. It’s clean, fresh, sporty, aromatic, good for daytime and hot weather. Very versatile for office and casual wear, my mother in law gifted me this one on my birthday and I wasn’t expecting it. It turned out to be a good gift because I’m really liking and wearing it lately.

I love the scent profile. Sadly, it doesn't last on my skin, so I've since had to move on. But glad you're enjoying it! Have you tried the new EDP yet?

@Andrés García Hernández Yes, I have a travel stick of it that I'm still working my way through. I'm still trying to decide if I like the "licorice" change in the scent profile. It's an interesting choice to go about making it smell "deeper." It does last longer, I'll give it that.
Fragrances that you'll wear more than twice a month. Summer edition.
So I'm noticing that among all of the fragrances that I have in my rotation l, there are a few that I will wear weekly. During these warmer months, I find myself wearing a few fragrances more than the others. For me, in the spring and summer fragrances, I find myself wearing PDM's Galloway, Initio's Musk Therapy and matiere premier's Parisian musc. Also D&G Capri in love as I've noticed that I'm really into figgy and musky fragrances. If you would do me the honor of mentioning which are your fragrances that would fall into this category for you, I'd love to hear it!!

@Scott Ripley Mancera Vetiver Sensual and Td'H are so underrated.
If we had a chance to restart your collection
I have been going through my collection. So I have been collecting since 2010 so going on 16 years or there about. I am at 950 bottles of all shapes and sizes. Don’t get me wrong I love my collection, but With this large of a collection now I am finding myself lately not being able to give proper time to a new fragrances. I dove head first in being a completionist for quantity over quality. If I had it to do again, I probably would have done things a little differently. I probably if I had to do it again knowing what I know now would have attacked things differently. With everything starting to smell “the same” or a twist of what was popular for a different brand. Stick to 1 or 2 designer house for an everyday wear YSL or Chanel Stick to 1 or 2 clone house that I wear the most French Avenue or Afnan Stick to 1 ir 2 Niche house for Winter, Fall, Formal Parfums de Marly or Michael Malul Just wondering if you guys would think to manage you collections differently. This is for new collectors too, I would say have a game plan and disciplined. Both very hard to do in this hobby. LOL

I don't think I'd do it by "house." But for the sake of this thought experiment, let's say: Designer -- Hermes / Cartier / Montblanc Niche -- MFK / Xerjoff / Mancera / Nishane / Amouage / Ex Nihilo Clone -- Al Haramain / Rayhaan Cheapie (my own 4th category) -- Something "classic" like Cool Water or Polo Green For reference, I only have about 12 bottles, but if I had to start all over, it'd be a completely different 12 bottles, based on the brands I just listed.

New to the hobby, began early 2024, but am a fast learner. I enjoy the non-tangible aspects of fragrances; the feelings, psychology, imagination, etc.
