Happy Friday Morning
Starting my "Power Hour" Working on my social marketing this morning. Getting those post out there. Also working on creating my List of 1000. And working on the emails that I will be sending them. Also working on my QBO Level 2 certification. Finely getting around to renewing that. Also setting up some networking events. Getting my own businesses books completed for my first tax year for them. Setting up two businesses propositions and getting those out. Will let you know how that goes. I have some flyers to print that I will be handing out and maybe mailing. OK a lot of things on my plate today. I already treat this as a full time job so, I will be working for at least the next 4 to 5 hours on these tasks.

Way to go!
NNN Homework Week 3
I completed week 3's homework, for the most part anyways. I will wait on getting the programs that require a subscription fee until I have a client. I'm a bit confused on how to use the marketing templates though. Since they are only in jpg and png files I can only upload them into Canva as pictures and they aren't very edit friendly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?

Maybe try saving the picture as a pdf then upload the pdf to canva?
Business Naming
Hello! I'm in week 1 and I'm trying to name my business, and I'm curious what names some of you came up with for yours. I had already ordered business cards and set up my business bank acct just using my name ("Megan Charette Bookkeeping") but I don't want my name out there like that, so I think coming up with a different name at this point makes sense while it's not a huge deal to change. I think I can just use the business cards I have and then change them when I order again...? Does that make sense? I want to focus, eventually, on supporting minority owned businesses. One idea I had was Better Together Bookkeeping. What do you all think? Do you have any other suggestions? I'm also leaning toward incorporating "Gem" but "Gem Bookkeeping" already exists. Thanks for your feedback!

Some people just use their last name instead of full name. So yours could be Charette Bookkeeping. Mine is Shoemaker Way Bookkeeping.
Week 1 Done!!!

Good job! I don’t post much either. It’s nice to have a place to share your achievements with people who get it and are on the same road though
Changing Niches
I'm wondering at what point we should explore other Niches. To be fair, I have not completed a Rule of 100 campaign (100 actions per day for 100 Days), but I have contacted a large number of leads. I had acquired a list of 1,000 leads and sent each company 2 emails. I attempted ringless voicemails for all of these as well, though only some 300 or so got through because of the No Call List. But I think this would still be considered 3,000 actions, right? I'm not sure what else to do with this list. 1. What else could I/should I attempt with this current list before moving on from this niche? 2. When do we know we've tried enough leads in a particular niche? I'm a little disappointed to not have more responses so far. At the same time, the experience has taught me that the process of cold emails is not that hard, and I am willing to keep going because I absolutely want to achieve my dream of a lucrative and flexible BOOKKEEPING business I can run from home. I'm willing to start a full Rule of 100 campaign as soon as I get more leads. Just not sure whether that should be in a new niche.

@Stephanie Brown you could incorporate a couple value only emails. Have it just include a helpful tip and if you have a newsletter set up, give them the option to sign up for a newsletter with recurring tips sent out weekly (or however often you set it up for). That way they get the tip, and you still can get them on your warmer leads list and they may sign up for services later. I plan to only send 4 cold emails. This is just some brainstorming!
