Yay!!
Vehicles listed as assets or expenses
Should vehicles be listed in the COA as assets or expenses? Assuming they are paid off and no longer a long term liability.

@Melissa Broughton that’s what I thought. My client who we just migrated from QBDesktop to QBO doesn’t have them under assets at all. Only expense accounts with sub accounts for fuel, maintenance, insurance, and registration.
Mailchimp?
Sending out individual emails and thinking about how to make this faster. So far I'm sending them individually and thankfully google has not stopped me at a low number, however it takes a while so I'm thinking of trying BCC to send several at a time. Also thinking about trying MailChimp, has anyone else tried it? Suggestions welcome!

@Megan Charette Also, I used the BCC feature on one of the emails I sent out and anytime someone replied to it, it was all on one thread. Other people wouldn't get their response, but it just got kind of jumbled. So I wouldn't end up using it again lol.

@Megan Charette I haven’t sent anymore šŸ˜… I currently have three clients I need to do a full year of clean up for each of them. So I’m going to focus on getting that done before I send out anymore emails
Migrating QBD to QBO
What are things to look out for when migrating QBDesktop to QBO? I just signed on a new client, and we will need to migrate her stuff!

@Melissa Broughton thank you!!
Got a recurring client back!
My client with 2 businesses signed on last July for 2024 to present clean up and ongoing bookkeeping. I finished and billed 2024, he made more than he realized and took awhile to get started on 2025. He finally emailed me in late January to get started on 2025 and set up auto pay for 2026 ongoing. I had to raise his rate for one of his businesses because it has 6 instead of only 2 accounts to reconcile like we initially discussed. So another month later, he finally signed the new agreement, paid the deposits for clean up, paid for Jan-feb 2026, and auto pay for march is going through. Big win!!
