Recurring Transaction Help
What is the proper way to end a recurring transaction in QBO I had set up for my client to pay me monthly? Do I just delete it?
Marketing question
Does anyone have pointers for how to send lots of emails and texts without doing each one individually? Mailchimp is not an option for marketing as people have to subscribe to your list before you can contact them through that platform. Looking for ways to send texts as well without doing each one individually. I'm using gmail and google voice. Are there better ways to do this?

@Sheila Watterson Thank you. How are you emailing and texting? I'd love to know what's working for you!
Most new bookkeepers don’t fail because....
Most new bookkeepers don’t fail because they can’t do bookkeeping. They fail because they struggle with something and then they halt all progress & momentum. Let's focus on self doubt for today (and if it doesn't apply to you - this may be worth a read it may apply to someone you know) You might be thinking:• “What if I mess something up?”• “What if the client asks something I don’t know?”• “What if I’m not ready yet?” Here’s the truth most experienced bookkeepers won’t tell you: No one feels 100% ready when they start. Every confident bookkeeper you see today once asked questions, double-checked transactions five times, and worried they were doing it wrong. Confidence doesn’t come before experience. Confidence comes because of experience. Every reconciliation you complete Every client question you research Every messy set of books you clean up …is building the confidence you’re looking for. So if you're new here, remember this: You don’t need to know everything. You just need to be willing to learn, stay curious, and keep showing up. That’s how real bookkeeping careers are built. 👇 Tell me in the comments: What’s one thing about bookkeeping that still makes you nervous?

My biggest worry at the moment is about talking to potential clients because I'm afraid they'll ask me questions and it will become immediately evident that I have no idea what I'm talking about.
Mailchimp?
Sending out individual emails and thinking about how to make this faster. So far I'm sending them individually and thankfully google has not stopped me at a low number, however it takes a while so I'm thinking of trying BCC to send several at a time. Also thinking about trying MailChimp, has anyone else tried it? Suggestions welcome!

@Kassidy Shoemaker Yes, I thought that might be the case, it made sending them take way less time though. How are you sending your emails?
Friday!
I just sent out my first 100 emails and somehow Google didn't stop me! YAY! I'm so happy to have my list and finally be starting this, I'll keep emailing and texting next week. Feeling a lot of anxiety and imposter's syndrome about moving forward, anyone else? Focusing on educating myself in between doing marketing. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
