Have a presentation and a luncheon today, so I need to impress.

Good Thursday morning, Frag Fam. It’s a rainy one here in Chicago with temps in the 50s, but I’ll gladly take that over snow any day. This first full week back after the holidays has me super busy and definitely feeling the fatigue, but we push through. My scent of the day is Kajal Lamar Noir, the third iteration in this line, and easily the one best suited for winter. While all three flankers are vastly different, Noir stands out with its deeper, moodier character. It opens fruity but quickly brings in a spicy edge, with soft florals developing in the heart that add depth and intrigue. This one really unfolds as the day goes on, making it a true fragrance journey from start to finish. Solid performance and a well-blended composition earn it a strong 8.5.

My next first wear from ADP translates to Amalfi Fig - the Reserve. This edp goes on very green and aromatic, like freshly cut plants. In 15 min citrus, fruity and floral notes appear, adding some sweetness with a touch of powder. It remains this uplifting, beautiful, fresh blend of notes with moderate sillage. The woodiest this ever gets is leaves, twigs and stems. Every accord smells very natural, not synthetic, and could be unisex. It's like I rubbed the real ingredients on my skin. At 1 hr the citrus is slowly receding, allowing the richness of the fig to shine. Performance shifts to steady-mild at 2.5 hrs, and the tone starts to become a little more warm and mellow. Persistent mild sillage pushes for 6 hrs then a very nice skin scent remains for hours. I really enjoyed this, and I think it would thrive in the in the fall, but especially in spring & summer. Or, indoors anytime. I'm off work today, and I have time for yet another one from ADP this afternoon. Have a great rest of your day brothers!

It’s a dreary, bone-chilling 22-degree morning here in Chicago, the kind of cold that makes you slow down and reach for something comforting yet refined. My scent of the day is Santal Austral by Matière Première, a beautifully crafted sandalwood that feels smooth, creamy, and quietly confident in this weather. The sillage is fantastic, leaving a soft but noticeable trail that feels elegant rather than overpowering, while the projection stays moderate and well-mannered, perfect for a relaxed Saturday. It wears close but still makes its presence known, wrapping you in a warm, polished aura that fits the gray skies just right. Overall, this one delivers a classy, composed experience, and I’m giving it a solid 8.75. Stay warm and scented, fam.
