☕ If you could order your "Brain State" from a menu right now, what would you pick?
Welcome to the counter, everyone. We are currently refining the "Threshold"—the very first moment you step into the ☕ Decision Barista. We are debating a fundamental question of hospitality, and we need your palate to decide. @Rex Loyer @Bill Widmer @Reema Rana @Jill Binder @Brian Diep @Sebastian Schroeder @Lindsey Rhodes The Question: When you are overwhelmed, how do you prefer to be served? - Path A (The Invisible Hand): You just want to vent, and have the AI quietly figure out what you need (Zero friction). - Path B (The Ritual): You want to see a Menu. You want the agency to click a button that says, "I am Frozen" or "I am Chaotic," because naming the problem feels like half the solution. Help us set the table. Look at the "Menu Options" below. If you had to click one right now to fix your day, which one calls to you?

Today I was needing novelty, and tried out the berry mode for the first time. It was indeed fun!

Hmm, upon closer inspection, I see that the descriptions here have changed. They are all now assuming I am doing some sort of task already. But the other versions were for when I'm not doing tasks yet. <-- That's where the power of this system was for me. I couldn't start doing any tasks *because* of (1) low energy & feeling frozen, (2) the browser tabs in my head, or (3) feeling bored.
What are you working on this week?
I love planning my week on Sundays. I'll be: - Continuing to set up and utilize Skoot CRM to help us grow & connect with members - Interviewing @Amber Kay on Tuesday and re-launching our YouTube channel - Helping our clients absolutely crush it What are your plans for the week?

- This week I am launching a lead magnet. :) To overcome overwhelm, I decided to write it piece by piece each day and send it out as a series to my community and my socials. :) "Your 2026 Tech Speaker Blueprint: A Proven Path to Your First (or Next!) Standout Tech Talk" - I want to launch a contest for collecting video testimonials from my 600+ past clients. I still need to work out the details. The one thing I know to start with is warming them up with connection emails, since most of them haven't heard from me in 2-5 years. - Figure out the details for a free workshop, and use the lead magnet to funnel people to that - Daily exercise & eating well - Do my art homework Stretch goals: - Connect with recent clients and warm leads - Finalize some newsletter things
Decision Barista tweaks : We removed the menu (Thanks Rex & Bill)
The Problem: @Rex Loyer pointed out a critical flaw in the Decision Barista: Asking an overwhelmed person to choose their mode is a blocker. The "Energy Calibration" (1-3 Scale) was asking you to be your own doctor before we even started treatment. The Fix: We have installed two major upgrades: "The Invisible Calibration" and "The Validator Protocol." 1. The Invisible Calibration (No more menus) The Barista now asks one question: "What is weighing on you?" It listens to your tone: - 10 frantic tasks? → It auto-switches to Executive Mode (Triage). - "Stuck" or silence? → It auto-switches to Gentle Mode (Safety). - "Bored" or "Ugh"? → It auto-switches to Novelty Mode (Gamification). 2. The Validator Protocol (No more robots) Previously, if you said, "Thank god, that helped," the bot would just ignore you and bark the next order. Now, the system detects your relief. It pauses the work to acknowledge the win, ensuring you feel safe before moving to the next step. Why this matters: You no longer have to diagnose yourself. You just have to show up. 👉 Grab the updated prompt using the same link . https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N1jVQ--GxBS4OnZFHBrV5SxX2DC5ybwjjmVW4kh9Y_Q/edit?usp=sharing PS: Will update the DecisionBarista.com site with these changes in next 2 days.

@G. S. My first experience with this version is already quirky. I will DM you a screenshot.
DID YOU KNOW… we now have Eat the Frog co-working sessions for Global community too? 🐸
Yep - we recently rolled out a new Eat the Frog block so more of our global community can benefit (and honestly… it’s been powerful). Our Eat the Frog session starts at 5:00 AM Austin (CST) - which means it’s perfectly timed for our global crew 👇 🕰 Here’s what that looks like around the world: 💚 UK (GMT): 11:00 AM 💚 Germany / France (CET): 12:00 PM (Noon) 💚 Cyprus (EET): 1:00 PM💚 South Africa (SAST): 1:00 PM 💚 India (IST): 4:30 PM 💚 Philippines (PHT): 7:00 PM Here’s how it works: 💚 You lock in ONE priority task 💚 We co-work for 2 focused hours 💚 We check in every hour for accountability 💚 You leave having actually moved something forward And the results? 👀 🔥 Shoutout moment: @Sarah Hyland just finished a course that wasn’t supposed to be done until March 2026… and she completed it by January 1st — simply by showing up every single day to both of these sessions. 🔥 And we’ve @Verena Venus and @Venessa Phipps showing up daily too.. @Venessa Phipps being early bird like I am joins at 6am her time in the US — using this space to stay ahead on business tasks and build real momentum. @Verena Venus joins us even if she is tired and stays on top of her tasks! This isn’t about hustle. It about structure + presence + community. And yes.. it’s for everyone, no matter where you’re located. If you haven’t been checking the calendar regularly, consider this your nudge 👇 ✨ Go take a look and join us for the next Eat the Frog session ✨ Pick one task you’ve been avoiding ✨ Let the group help you stay with it Drop a 🐸 if you’re in and tell us what task you’d bring to the next session!

Love that you are expanding your times. I'd like to put in a vote for a later time. I'm in Pacific. The current latest time is 8am, but I'm a night owl and I don't roll out of bed til 9am. I'd be down for some sessions 10am or preferably later. :)
I built a quiet place for the voice in your head.
Most productivity tools ask you to "push through." But if you have ADHD, "pushing" usually just leads to paralysis. I realized that being stuck usually comes in three flavors. So I built Decision Barista—an AI companion that doesn't judge you; it just adjusts to your energy level. The Menu (Chef's Choice): 🍵 Matcha Mode: You are frozen/anxious. We take small, compassionate steps. ☕ Espresso Mode: You are overthinking. We set a ruthlessly short timer. 🫐 Berry Mode: You are bored. We gamify the task to hack your dopamine. The Honor Bar (The Threshold): Standard marketing says I should force you to give me your email to see this. I refuse. If you are overwhelmed, you don't need a funnel. You need relief. - No Signup. - No Email. - Just the tool. 👉 Click the link to enter the Honor Bar. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1N1jVQ--GxBS4OnZFHBrV5SxX2DC5ybwjjmVW4kh9Y_Q/edit?usp=sharing Let's check the community pulse: Which flavor do you need this morning? Drop a 🍵, ☕, or 🫐 below. THANKS @Rex Loyer and @Bill Widmer for all your amazing support and feedback! P.S. - I'm in meetings most of today but will check back this evening to see how it's landing.
I built a quiet place for the voice in your head.

@G. S. I would suggest adding to the instructions for the end-users something like: "If you feel like you are at more than one level right now, choose the lowest number."
