Codex/Claude Code Lead Finder
Hi everyone, I created a lead finder system using Claude Code or Codex's Web Search function to help you find leads depending on the niche you choose. I was going to post a long explanation on how to set it up, but I wanted you to be able to use it right away... Not a week later after you've figured out how to set it up yourself. What I've done instead is added some zip files with all the folders and files pre-built. You'll need to update one of the files to fit your niche, and show your proof/results, but everything else is pre-built. I only had 5 minutes to record a loom video, so feel free to ask questions if you feel like I missed something. A few rules when using Claude Code or Codex: Never let it do all the thinking for you, just the research. Never let it download plugins or 3rd-party skills without your consent. Never give it passwords or API keys until you thoroughly understand how to keep them safe. Never send emails to friends and family using AI. They will know the difference and call you out on it. Three meta video ads written for portfolio
Hi all, After input from Nabeel Azeez and Shafaq Kazmi, I wrote three video ad scripts for acne supplements. They are not long. I focused on a short and crisp script for maximum impact. I also used the learning from Lina Fahizul's workshop and was careful not to twist the knife. The most rewarding part was the research. Reading the subreddits where people tell their pains, frustrations and how they are missing out on life gave me exact wording to use in the scripts. For the portfolio, I wrote the Google Doc in the below framework: 1. Why I chose this product 2. Why I Wrote These Three Ads This Way 3. Customer research from subreddit (pain points segmented) 4. Amazon customer review summary of competitor products 5. Product I chose to write creative for 6. The three creatives Feel free to rip apart the video script.

@Em Ma i agree on this. A bit too dramatic. More subtle things like avoiding photos. Going out in public with friends who are "prettier" not having the confidence to talk to the person they like etc... many ways to play this that still empathises with the reader

Twitter Growth Playbook + Minority Copywriter Summit
Hey folks, I’ve been MIA for a while (family trip), but I managed to work through 2 more incredibly valuable workshops from our free copywriting resources which I’d like to share with you all. 1) Twitter Growth Playbook As SIr Nabeel mentioned, and after seeing some people in this community land clients through X, I decided to give it a shot. This course is packed with value. I learned how to: > Optimize my profile > Turn it into a personal brand > Create content to keep it growing I’ve already started implementing what I’ve learned and I’m excited to share the results with you all. 2) Minority Copywriter Summit This workshop includes 10 masterclasses by top marketers in the game. It covers a wide range of topics including: > Sean McIntyre on writing for millennials > Brian Lenney on landing your first client > Chris Orzechowski's email breakdown > Jim Clair on reading better and learning faster Every session offers a different perspective, so you should go through all of them for a well rounded learning experience. Now I’m back to writing. Will post my latest writing practice for review soon. So guys, what free resources have you been learning from lately?

Relatively new to the copy world so the resources that i have found very useful was the Copy That! Mega course, a bullet masterclass from Stephan Georgie and a number of Matthew's videos
Stop asking about niche, ask yourself this first
I see lot of people asking about what niche they should pick. See, copywriting is all about understanding your customers. If you dont do your research, you have lost the customer before they put anything into checkout basket. But doing research for something you have no idea about is overwhelming. So many options, opinions and you feel paralyzed. Especially if you are newbie copywriter! The simple solution is to focus on something you already understand and build on top of that. Oh you are skincare junkie who knows all the new hot ingredients and brands and loves to try new products? Write copy for skincare companies. You love going to gym and genuinely care about what you eat? Focus on either gym (service) or products (protein powder, supplements, gloves for lifting, etc) and write copy for that. Do you have your own pet? Write for pet niche. Pick whatever is appealing: landing pages, emails, meta ads, blog posts... This will give you: - benefit of skipping the "basic" research and you can dive right into writing - deeper understanding of potential customer personas - you genuinely care about the topic so it comes more easy to you - doing research prior to writing copy is more fun Don´t ask "what niche i should pick" but "what do I know about more than average person?" This is cheatcode to producing more copy faster which means you improve faster. Choose the topic you would research willingly at 10pm after work when you know you should be waking up early. Like this post and I will send you link to profitable ecom niches (not affiliated!) so you can get inspired and start writing today.

Resonate with this a lot. Especially when starting out. Writing about a subject that you barely know anything about or don't personally care about at all is very challenging, but you will be able to do it with enough practice. But until then, just write about the things you love. Realising that also makes reaching out to prospects so much easier because you can relate to them in a way that other marketers might not be able to.
