Day 1 done
My biggest take away is that I'm not broken. I mean, I knew it, but it is nice to have it confirmed.๐Ÿฅด My open loop is I need to deeply declutter and reorganize my living space.๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ My current feeling is that I am encouraged.๐Ÿ’œ

Morning/evening routines
Hello everyone ๐Ÿ˜€ I'm curious about how you guys are doing with the morning/ evening routines? Are you keeping up with it? What works good for you? Can you notice any difference? Do you have any of your own positive routines you want to share?

@Shanon Grady Yeah, and the little changes gives you the energy and momentum you need for the big changes ๐Ÿ˜€

My evening routine is: small brain dump to clear my head of things. Writing things down in the calendar if needed. Drinking a little water and taking the magnesium supplement. Reading something I can meditate about to keep my mind from wandering to the daily problems. Thinking of what and whom I'm grateful for. Picking up my calm carry/pulsen and using that for 20 min while doing some breathing exercises. Sometimes listening to some calm sleep music. This routine has helped so much with my problems falling asleep, no more meds or melatonin! And to more lying awake for hours trying to sleep. Trying to get as much light as possible during the day or using a light therapy light in the morning really helps with falling asleep at night.
Routines upside-down
Routines can be very important for our daily lives to run smoothly. I keep reminding myself about that during vacations and holidays. Because sometimes I notice that changes i like (for example spending more time with family and friends) can still leave me exhausted and with a nervous system on edge. So if you are struggling with mood swings or problems focusing (more than normal ๐Ÿ˜‰) at this time of year, that might be the reason. What do you do to keep on track when the routines go out the window?

@Jim Ebbelaar I do my best to spend as much time as possible outside. I've got my son that is 20 months old, it's the best I can do for him as well to keep him in a good place ๐Ÿ˜€ he is a little like a canary in a coal mine, he reacts to changes sometimes even before I can notice something is off. Playing outside and going for walks in the forest is the easiest thing I can do to balance us both. Pulling bark off dead trees is strangely soothing ๐Ÿ˜† I really miss proper exercise, but there just is no time with a toddler around.
Lessons from relationships and energy
You've discovered something powerful this year: the difference between relationships that diminish and those that amplify. You've tasted what it feels like to be seen as strong rather than lacking, to have your efforts celebrated rather than scrutinized. WOW. This is what I want more of!

That is very nice ๐Ÿ˜€ good for everyone to reflect on!
Day 1
Day 1 โœ… Done! ๐Ÿง  Biggest insight: I already knew about the idea of self-image dictating everything, but I haven't found a way to apply it. My hope is that this challenge will allow me to apply it in a way that would help me with my biggest issue: the start-bored-leave unfinished-look for new thing loop. โšก๏ธ My open loop is: shutting down a failed business. ๐Ÿ’› One word for how I feel right now: Optimistic

I hope you will find what you need to move forward ๐Ÿ˜€ remember that steps in the right direction is worth a lot too ๐Ÿ˜€
